Dr Denison is a fantastic orthodontist and the staff at his office are wonderful, too.

Very disappointing experience. I went to Dr. Raney for help after having concerns with previous…read moreInvisalign treatment. He evaluated me, discussed issues with the prior treatment, told me he could help, developed a corrective treatment plan, and quoted me the cost. I relied on that information and planned to move forward with him. Then, after the situation with my previous dentist became more complicated, he changed course and decided he no longer wanted to treat me. I understand a provider can decline a case, but giving a patient a treatment plan and saying you can help, only to later back away, left me scrambling to find another orthodontist. The conflicting information and lack of consistency were incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend this practice based on my experience.

His first appointment with Dr. Raney went so well, we decided to proceed with the braces and come to his office. The staff is super friendly, very attentive and Dr. Raney is wonderful with kids/teens. Love his office, it's clean and open. The area where the kids/teens are seen is an open room (parents welcomed) and he supervises all his staff, the room being open allows him to be available and attend to his staff needs. Payment plans are available, but most insurances accepted.

One of the team even interrupted her Thanksgiving dinner to take care of an urgent and painful orthodontic emergency that one of my kids had gotten herself into. We felt terribly guilty over interrupting this young woman's family time, but we are highly grateful for her self-sacrifice. This is a mark of true class and distinction. You cannot go wrong entrusting Dr. Demas and his team. They will do their conscientious best, "crossing every t and dotting every i." No complaints from us!

The location is convenient, as it is in the same building as my optometrist. Parking is plentiful and off street, too. When you walk in, you will notice it is bright, spacious, modern, and devoid of the traditional smell of musty attic and latex that usually emanate the air of a dental office. The first thing you will notice is the friendly front desk staff. They are extremely friendly and helpful, and even though I forgot my son's initial paperwork, it was no hassle at all to get the extra paperwork. In the waiting room, there is plenty of room to get comfortable- there are lots of chairs, phone charging station complete with every charger imaginable, a TV, a coffee bar, magazines, and even a Team Demas monthly newsletter. The wait was a little lengthy, and there were quite a few patients in there, so I'm glad the waiting area makes the wait not so terrible. The consultation area was also very nice, we were taken back to a private office with a dentist chair and state of the art tools and software that were able to scan a 3d model of my child's mouth within a minute. It was crazy fast! The one thing that gave me issue is that after the consultation, I received a mixed message. I was informed my child would experience facial deformities and serious oral issues if not treated, yet his exam determined he would only qualify for our private, paid insurance, and that our public insurance determined there was no major need. I feel this was done in effort to get me to pay more out of pocket, as the private reimbursement rate is more than Medicaid's. They made the process seem so medically necessary, so it really boggles me that they would then turn around and say it isn't necessary enough, but still so necessary you must fork over $4,444.00. Overall, the office is nice and modern, and it does seem like a lovely place to get work done. All I have to say is beware if you have private plus public insurance, because it seems like they'd do anything to ensure you pay the most out of pocket.

I broke a tooth on vacation. Dr Amaro was able to get me in and fix in one day. I have been going…read morehere for over 10 years and love this dentist. He is always so friendly and professional.

These people could not care less about their patients. When I first started going to them, I was…read moreassigned to a dentist there who wasn't even on their list when you called to make an appointment. So, someone very, very new. I had a tooth that was, apparently, badly infected, so this dentist performed a root canal on it. But when he made the crown for the tooth, it was way too big. And I mean massive. So massive that it filled the entire spot below it, where another crown was supposed to go. I told him the crown he made was too big, pointed out how it was so huge it would be impossible to fit the other crown below it. He did not listen. Just brushed me off and said that the computer had modeled the crown after my real tooth, so they would fit together just fine. Fastforward to a week later, when I had to have the lower crown fit in. Guess what? The monstrously huge upper crown was too big. It blocked the lower one. The poor dentist who was in charge of the lower crown kept shaving it down until it was almost nothing, trying to make it fit. I finally told him to stop, that it was useless because the upper crown was too big. I called this office again, Norwich Family Dental Associates at 17 Lafeyette, and told them AGAIN that their crown was too big. The had me come in, shaved the massive upper crown down. Then, fastforward to another week later (roughly) and I get a call from them out of the blue telling me to come in because they needed to inspect the crown they'd put in. I go in and guess what? Turns out, they had to replace it because oh gee, wouldn't you know, it was too big. Like I had told them it was FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. So, they had to give me a new crown. But not before the lower one had been shaved down to almost nothing in an effort to compensate for THEIR mistake. I still had a few fillings that needed to be done. Same guy who did the upper crown, because once they just assign you to the dentist that can fit you in the soonest, he's just automatically who they give you every time. And he was apparently new, so they just funneled new patients to him. During a filling, the Novocain he gave me didn't work. I felt everything. And it hurt. Badly. He gave me another injection of Novocain, but with the same result. It. Didn't. Work. Third time's the charm, right? Wrong. It still didn't work. So, I can only assume he was injecting it in the wrong spot. But it didn't matter. After his third attempt didn't dull the pain he just kept on working and I had to clench my fists and bear it the whole time. All of this happened around 2022, 2023. Now it's 2025. The dentist I had been seeing there a couple years ago was gone. So, I was assigned to a different guy. I go back because a crown I had (different tooth), popped out during flossing. I go there just to have it recemented. Well, when I go to have this done, wouldn't you know, the tooth next to it has a cavity beneath the crown. But the cavity? It was found on an x-ray that had been taken ALL the way back in 2022. But the guy I'd been seeing then just hadn't caught it. So, it festered. For years. And you know they kicked? I had actually gone into the office a few months prior to this cavity being found, wanting all teeth x-rayed because I knew something was wrong. They brushed me off, said it was too soon for a full dental x-ray and that it wasn't due for another TWO YEARS. The cavity could have been found THEN, too. But no. They brushed me off, like always. By the time they remove the crown and see the damage, most of the tooth was lost. Did they still charge me for THEIR mistake? You bet they did. Did they give me anything for the pain in my gums caused by the TEMPORARY fix they did? Of course they didn't. Just told me to come back in and give them MORE money (that of course I can't afford) to see what's going on with the tooth because it still ached. And if I did, naturally they'd tell me some other asininely expensive procedure would be needed to fix it. I tried to tell them it probably hurts because, due to other medical conditions atm, I just heal slowly. But of course, their go to is to just have me come in. Again. And give them more money. I'm done. With this office. With it all. I'm done.
