Her sheer love for kids and the magic In her hands have nurtured our child through and through. This has been the best decision so far and we love how the whole family is involved in making this Place the best it is.

The new owner never properly introduced themselves to the parents or explained what we could expect under the new management. They raised the weekly price by $60 with no explanation on why the price was required (and that price did not include any meals). My son started coming home with horrific diaper rash. According to the child care app, his diaper wasn't getting changed until 1030-11am despite being dropped off at 7am. He would scream and cry every time we tried to change his diaper and would also cry "it hurts!" We started dropping off a water each day because we didn't know whether he was getting fresh clean water every day. When we would pick up his water bottles, they would smell funky like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. My son developed a fear of wearing sweatshirts and jackets because no one was taking his sweatshirt off and he would overheat. After a few months we removed our toddler and it was the best decision ever.

She continues to learn and grow in so many ways and they have allowed her to express herself in her own way. She has big emotions and lots of energy and as a mom I know that can be hard to manage sometimes. They have handled her with care, kindness and compassion. From helping with potty training, nutritious meals and snacks to lots of arts and crafts they have nailed it in my book. As a parent, choosing childcare is always a tough decision. I would hands down recommend Kids Inc.

The past director did a great job of keeping up with what changes needed to take place in order to create healthy learning and development of our little one and class rooms. Over the last year we have noticed a dip in operations and leadership. My little one started to constantly told us she did not want to go to school. We started to take more details as to why our little one felt this way and deliver communication with leads/teachers on the challenges. Given they have had lots of transition operationally wanted to partner on a solution. However, no actions were taken. Leaders were not great with communication and partnership on creating development plans with my child. The teachers were all very honest and expressed they can only due so much given high classroom counts and being short staffed consistently. Several teachers also expressed have difficulty with several kids in the high classroom numbers and not getting leadership support. Then creating a lack of positive culture and environment. That piece is important to us as parents. Very high teacher turnover the last year, we experienced a lack of consistency for the class room changes along with no communication on changes to us parents. Ie. If a teacher was no longer working at the center for our classroom we were not notified. This can be challenging for little ones without consistency and consistency rotating different teachers within the same day. We also have had issues with the office over charging payments. We did have to sit down and explain and breakdown payments to the leads in order for it to get corrected. It is unfortunate experience I believe the classroom structure from 3 years and up can uses some additional training and education. Leadership best practices can be critique to provide action planning. Example: listening to all sides including: parents and teachers feedback to create healthier environments for the children to thrive. This would be my biggest recommendation. In addition, training, support and education to the new operations leaders/teachers in order to create action plans to support healthy changes for children in our community is key to successful development.

I am sharing my personal experience with this daycare because it was extremely upsetting as a…read moremother. Last month, I stopped by the facility to find out whether my daughter was there and to visit and breastfeed her. My ex had previously enrolled her here for a week in February, but I was unsure whether she had been enrolled here again. I provided my ID and was assisted by a staff member, who allowed me to enter and see my daughter in the infant room. At the time, the babies were being put down for a nap and my daughter had just fallen asleep. I did not want to disrupt her or the other children, so I decided to return in about an hour. Kelley Adam's who I believe to be the main coordinator walked up to me with my ex and I's family court order in hand flipping through it, as I was talking with the other staff member. I, then, told them I'd be back to see my daughter in about a hour when she is awake and left. When I returned, I was initially asked to wait in the hallway. I asked if I could breastfeed my daughter in the infant room, where I had previously been allowed to see her and where there was comfortable seating available. I was told that they would prefer that I remain in the hallway. The coordinator then approached and told me that I was not permitted to be there based on the court order. I asked her to explain and show where the court order prohibited me from visiting my daughter at the facility, since she had it in hand again. She couldn't point it out. The situation became increasingly tense. The coordinator also accused me of being on the property the previous day with another person--saying she had my "tags" and car plate, but I know this is false. I have full receipts and video on my whereabouts the day before and have no reason to hide. She, then, told me that she would call my ex to pick my baby up right then, as she picked up the phone again to call him. She then said that my daughter's enrollment could potentially be terminated, if there's further problems. Police were eventually called to the facility. I spoke with an officer outside, and after the officer spoke with the daycare staff, I was told that I could not return to the facility due to the situation and the management's decision. I spoke with a judge the next day and he clarified that there's nothing in the court order that prevents me from seeing my daughter, while she is at daycare in my ex's week. He stated I have constitutional rights and should practice them. What made this experience especially difficult for me was that I had come to the facility simply hoping to see my daughter and breastfeed her. This was her first week back at this daycare, since that one week in February. She's been fully in my care since birth, and being prevented from visiting her was emotionally distressing for me. I understand that daycare staff must prioritize children's safety and may need to review court orders or address complicated family situations. However, I felt that the situation could have been handled more professionally and with greater care and respect. Rather than calmly discussing the court order and clarifying the facility's policies, the interaction escalated quickly and resulted in the police being called. My experience left me feeling unwelcome and unfairly treated as my daughter's mother. I would encourage parents in co-parenting or custody situations to ask the facility in advance about its visitation policies, how it handles court orders, and whether both parents are permitted to visit their child during daycare hours.

Some are truly terrible, some are just annoying or petty, but you hear about these issues so often, how can you ever actually be ready to entrust your most precious little thing in the world to a bunch of strangers? Well I don't know how anyone else does it, but if you trust your child to this group of amazing ladies just know your kid is going to be in incredible, amazing, caring hands. That's not fluff, I have the video evidence of it. I have the pictures. Most importantly I have a happy and blossoming child who has grown in motor skills and language and intelligence so, SO much in such a short amount of time with them. I've seen first hand the care and love given to these children. The class sizes are small so everyone gets personal attention. Every single adult in the building knows my child's name, every one of them smiles and shines at him just like they do for every child there. When he started to walk on his own he was a little tentative and hesitant, and you should have seen how incredible they were at encouraging him, cheering for him, having all the bigger kids help cheer for him...the thought of it brings a tear to my eye because everything is just so positive there. It's a small little place with a ton of heart. I can't even begin to say enough - Ms. Isha, Ms. Magaly, Ms. Cindy and Ms. Tina along with everyone else in the building deserve flowers every day for the work they do with these kids. Of all the things parents have to worry about daily, just know this: if you choose to bring your child here for daycare, you will almost immediately feel the weight of one less worry on your shoulders. They'll keep them safe, they'll keep them fed, they'll keep them learning and most importantly they'll keep them loved. I can't imagine a better place for my kid.

That video call we all agreed on happened ONE time a day or two after our zoom meeting and not once since then. When they talk to you about you child misbehaving they talk to you like you're a kid as well "you know biting and spitting is wrong."We (myself and my wife) already know what Behavior is wrong and don't need it spoon fed to us. They also don't really go over what happens. I understand you can't have eyes on every single kid every second. Is he being picked on? Provoked? Etc? He isn't just randomly going up to someone and hitting them for no reason. They didn't really give him a chance to improve or give us the resources they claimed to have available so that makes me kind of sad. I wonder why they expelled him so fast. He has been going there for 4 years. They also haven't had a "principal" for the past 3-4 months. We were already talking about switching daycares a couple weeks ago (though we didn't want to because everyone is nice and friendly) so I guess it's for the best. If your 4 YEAR OLD child isn't an absolute 100% angel and fluent in logical thinking and comprehension of consequences then maybe look elsewhere.

Unfortunately, our experience with Robin's Place was extremely disappointing, especially when it…read morecame to communication. We really wanted this place to work. We liked the owners when we toured, liked the smaller childcare feel, and genuinely tried to give the benefit of the doubt when communication was difficult from the very beginning. Even getting basic information and enrollment paperwork required multiple follow-ups, despite discussing our son starting on a specific date. After our son's first day, we were basically told that he "had a good day" and "didn't nap." That was it. No one could tell us what he ate for breakfast or lunch, how much he ate, what activities he did, or really anything about his day. We were told to "look in the app," but the app showed that he had been given **6 oz of formula the entire day** and listed some snacks we had sent from home. When we asked staff directly for clarification or details about his eating/ meals no one could answer us. That as you can imagine, was extremely concerning to us as parents. We reached out to the owners because we wanted clarification and honestly hoped this was just a communication issue that could be fixed and given explanation. But, instead, the response was essentially, "Sorry his first day didn't meet your expectations," followed by an invoice. We still have never gotten an answer about what our son actually ate that day. If we are supposed to rely on the app for that information, then according to the app, he had 6 oz of formula and some snacks from home. That's it. We completely understand that a first day may not go perfectly. We weren't expecting perfection. We were expecting basic communication about our child's care like promised during our tour. The biggest issue for us was that the lack of communication wasn't just a bad first day experience. It was a pattern that started before enrollment and continued once our son was actually in their care. We kept giving the benefit of the doubt because we really wanted this place to work, but after picking up our child and having no one able to tell us anything meaningful about his day, we simply did not feel comfortable sending him back. If you are looking for childcare, I would strongly recommend asking very specific questions about how they communicate with parents and how meals, bottles, naps, and daily activities are documented before enrolling. For us, communication is non-negotiable when it comes to our child, and unfortunately, this experience did not give us confidence.

I wholeheartedly love this daycare…read more I was extremely cautious when selecting where to place my girls when we moved. It's downtown Mesa, things can look pretty shady and I was so scared to place my kids in the wrong care while I went to school! I spent hours looking into every daycare in the area: I was trying to find a legitimate center that functioned like a preschool, focused on the psychology of childcare and child problem solving, and had been reviewed by city or state boards and had passed... there was exactly ONE daycare that met my standards on paper: The Yellow Brick House Daycare. I was eager to tour the facility and they were very welcoming to my visit and all my questions. I probably spent a half an hour looking everything over and getting all my questions answered. I was so pleased with how kind Ricardo and Veronica were, and every answer they give to my questions was music to my ears. With relief, I placed my girls into their care. We ultimately had to move quite far away from downtown Mesa and that move forced us to switch daycares. I genuinely cried when the last day came. A "We Will Miss You" book came home filled with pictures and kind notes from school friends. The whole time they spent there was filled with fun holiday parties and crafts, so, SO much learning and growing, and I could just feel how much the team there loved my children.
