I am a realtor in San Luis Obispo County with clients who had to sell a family home in the South…read moreBay. I researched different agents in the area to find out who did the best job presenting a home for sale, and gave the sellers several strong candidates. Ultimately, they chose Margaret and were extremely glad they did! That said, Margaret wasn't just a realtor, she was much more. The home had been occupied by a very senior occupant and a dependent adult child. The home was dated, had deferred maintenance, and was not clean. Margaret had a team that did more than prepare the home for sale -- they practically did an entire remodel. She not only had a team, she was there every day and participated in the overhaul. She also had phenomenal communication with me and the sellers, all throughout the process. The result was a home that presented so beautifully that it generated multiple offers in just a few days and sold for more than list price. Margaret was definitely more than a realtor for this transaction. She was a trusted advisor, hands-on laborer, and expert professional.I recommend her wholeheartedly!

Margaret is great. We have been working with her for around 30 yrs, starting with an Apartment…read morePlacement, through three house purchases, and finishing most recently with a house sale. She is trustworthy, experienced, and will always work in your best interest. My company at the time assigned her office to us to place us in an Apartment as we were moving down from SFO. Margaret was our assigned realtor. She knows the South Bay extremely well and matched the best neighborhoods to our budget and showed us many different options. We eventually landed in a great apartment. In our first house the challenge was getting us a place within the limits of a VA Loan. VA Loans were very low at that time. Margaret found a way. She found a few fairly good houses in good areas for us and led negotiations with the seller so that we could make that VA Loan work. In our second house, the owners left a gravestone (a real one) in the yard. It was a prop from a Halloween party that happened, but it probably weighed 1,000 lbs. The seller didn't want to get rid of it (or maybe didn't know how). Margaret found a way. She has great connections in the South Bay. She found a crew that broke it up and hauled it away at a reasonable cost before we bought it. In our third house, the seller was selling it himself. He approached things in an unconventional way and was often very demanding. Margaret found a way to deal with him so that he was satisfied but also acted in our interest. Her negotiating skills really came through in this purchase and we ended up paying a good price for the house. In our recent sale, our house was in really good shape, but didn't look up to date. Margaret immediately assessed the situation and knew exactly what to do to ensure that the house showed well. Her connections again came through, and we had gardeners/tree trimmers, cleaners, and painters all working on critical areas of the house to make it show really well--at a reasonable price. And her skill at setting the correct price point became apparent when we listed. I personally thought it was a little low, but we trust Margaret and went with her recommendation. Her strategy was right on target. The price was a little low, but by listing it like that we attracted many buyers and the price quickly bid up to something beyond what I originally thought would be a good price. The house looked great, the buyers came, and we sold at a price that exceeded expectations. Margaret is great. She is a Perfect 10. I would never think of going with anyone else.

Rocco did none of these. He was supposed to provide a tax deduction receipt for tax purposes. He did not. The contract says "In case of a cleanout, we may need an extra day or two to precisely estimate the costs involved and determine the balance". Rocco charged us $2400 and did not provide any invoices, receipts or even an explanation of how $2400 was determined. Lastly, My grandfathers antique accordion disappeared during the sale process and Rocco says he knows nothing about it. He said he would ask his co worker about it but he never did. Since one of my fellow friends from grade school recommended Bob for sale of family's home in…read moreWestchester, I took his referral vs. more ' reasonable' choices we have to sell real estate. Since we are all old Catholics, I was under an impression from my referral to Bob that he may show some 'favor' since we are old altar boys. Well, in short order, Mr.Waldron made it very clear that I was not eligible for any discounts by virtue of our so-called religion. During the sales process, I was entirely taken care of by his counterpart with any/all communications where I was hoping he would handle us with some kit gloves by virtue of his 'reputation' from our mutual friend. Rarely did I receive an update other than communications how the market forces that came into play I already had knowledge of. I am not a plebe regarding real estate transactions or discussions how the economic forces plays a role. Here is one of the reason's I am leaving California; In my travels, it is easily noticed how other states show their veterans some favor by virtue of their service. When asked for any discount, he was adamant that it was not available to me. So if you 'think' you are eligible for any discount by virtue of your service or relation with the 'creator', this man is not your choice. He is cordial, however if you are seeking any favor look somewhere else. Made me feel like no matter how decent, good, God fearing I am does not matter. And since California no longer shows respect to your veterans I am no longer interested by this differential treatment. Just follow the money. Left me with a taste in my mouth that said: Red, White and Blue - spit on you. I only speak the truth and if you don't like it that is your free will. Have a wonderful day folks!

This review is for Bobbie Stark, who is part of Bob Waldron's team!…read more Now that the whirlwind of home-buying has come to an end, and we are settling into our new home, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to Bobbie Stark. I am so fortunate to have found her to represent my husband and I while buying our first home in Westchester. We both really felt that she always had our best interests at heart and feel we got one of the best deals in town. My journey with Bobbie began about 5 years ago, when she showed us a listing on Alberta in the Del Rey area. The moment I met her, there was something that made me say, "Bobbie is our gal!" I appreciated her honesty, genuineness, and knowledge of the buying process, and in our case, the short sale process. I never felt pressured to buy a home and she was there for us whenever I saw a listing and wanted more information. She quickly responded to my inquiries, phone calls and emails. As the process went forward, she was right there to reassure us whenever we had questions or concerns. Since we bought our home, Bobbie has checked in on us to make sure everything has been handled properly along the way and just to say, "Hi!" I think it is unique that she actually desires to continue a relationship with her clients even after the sale is complete. In addition, she has helped us by giving us referrals for an electrician, plumber, hardwood floor refinisher, and has connected us to the many great resources in the Westchester area. I do not believe most agents are this committed or thorough. I would highly recommend Bobbie Stark to anyone looking for an agent to represent them during a sale. Not only did we find the perfect agent, we found a friend. If you unsure about retaining her as your agent, feel free to contact me and I would be happy to talk about my experience.

Would highly recommend and would definitely engage him again if we have any other real estate needs come up. Long version: My fiancé and I were looking for homes on the Westside and had spent 3 months by ourselves looking at open houses. We were ready to find an agent to work with us. After a bumpy experience with an agent who sold my NorCal home (project management was not his strength, and he wasn't detail-oriented at all), I resolved we needed to find a great real estate agent for our home purchase in SoCal. We we ended up phone screening 3 agents and also interviewed them in person, each for 1-2 hours. JD really stood out - from our conversations with him it was clear he knew the area well, was extremely detail-oriented and wasn't bothered at all by our numerous detailed questions, and he made it clear he was responsive and available a lot of the time, including after normal work hours. That was huge for us as we both work full time so we needed someone who could work with us in the evenings. We are so so glad we went with JD. He was extremely patient and responsive throughout the time we worked with him. He emailed us listings immediately after we signed the contract with him and we picked out 4-5 homes to check out during open houses on the next Sunday. Unexpectedly, we fell in love with one right away (after seeing homes for 3 months we knew what we wanted right away). The next day, Monday, JD was extremely patient as my fiancé and I debated if we wanted to put an offer down and if so, how soon - we were waiting on the sale of the other home to get the funds we needed. He gave us great advice and that we shouldn't be scared to put an offer down if it truly felt like the one, and we might as well try so we have no regrets, even with a contingent offer. Just a note about contingent offers - it's nearly impossible to get a contingent offer accepted in the current LA home market (we were warned of this by the multiple agents we interviewed when we mentioned we had to wait on a sale to get funds). That night at 9pm after we had some time to talk through the decision with our families, we made our decision to go ahead. JD patiently made himself available, and we worked on the contingent offer and got it out right around midnight. (THANK YOU JD FOR BEING SO FLEXIBLE WITH YOUR TIME!!). JD helped us navigate the offer process really well and even though two other higher offers came in, the seller took ours! Part of that was thanks to JD's stellar reputation in the housing market here - the listing agent had had a great experience with JD previously and knew he brought good clients who would make the sale as hassle-free as possible. So, the lesson here is go with a reputable agent that other agents in the area know and will want to work with. JD is one of those :) Throughout all steps of the process JD was clear in telling us what we could expect/what was coming next and extremely responsive (typical email response time was immediate to within a few hours). Would highly recommend JD and we plan to work with him again if we have further LA real estate needs in the future!

My absolutely Most Favorite Realtor! He totally deserves the MFR award!…read more I have been condo shopping for the past 2 months on the west side... JD has been more than helpful. Since I am staying in a decent place that is 7 minutes (including traffic + traffic light) away from work right now, I am really not trying too hard to look for a place. However, JD has been super patient with me. From my random desire to get a one bedroom and expanded the scope to a 2 bedroom, JD made sure every place we see has parking spot ( Josie's #2 Priority), nice bathroom, awesome closet... and most importantly located within 10 minutes away from my work!!!! JD is friendly, funny and just fantastic to go condo shopping with. He is honest, knowledgeable, and often give good suggestions. He would remind me on things I have absolutely not thought about. Absolutely detail - oriented! While I still haven't made up my mind yet, I am getting really really close on deciding on a place. Choices choices... life is full of choices. It's tough enough to choose your future home, don't spend more time to choose your agent. JD is your man!
