This was such an incredibly simple and quick experience, that I am sure to stick with Valvoline, and this location in particular. These folks operate very smoothly and have a great rhythm for each service. I truly was there for less than 15 minutes and they even checked a few things besides just changing the oil. I had a coupon, so it was about $40 total, which I found to be quite reasonable! All around this was such a solid experience and I am beyond pleased! After pacing between my car and the inspector (who was busy chain smoking), I was told by the human iteration of a greenbean that the inspector was leaving in two hours and didn't have time to inspect my car. The overwhelming masses waiting for an inspection (there was NO ONE there, for an oil change or otherwise) - were obviously taking up too much of his valuable Marlboro Man time. The reason I was given for the inspector's inability to inspect was he, the chain smoking Jiffy Lube State Inspector, did not feel he could complete any repairs in the two hours he had before peacing out for the day. Uh... what? I concede, I, a lowly teacher, do not know the in's and out's of inspecting cars - especially those that have recently been tuned-up and given a clean bill of car health, but sure. I'll stay in my lane. I was told by Mr. Greenbean that if I came back at 8am on Saturday, I would be the first in line and the Marlboro Man would inspect my car. Great. Fast forward to 7:55am on Saturday: I am greeted by a different employee who asks what I want. I explain I'm here at 7:55am on Saturday AM per the instructions of his Greenbean co-worker and salty state inspector. I was assured I would be *first* in line for an inspection. This new employee informs me with a chuckle that "ha ha, the inspector doesn't work on Saturdays! Who told you to come in on the weekend, they should have known better." That mother**+*** Greenbean. I now know why this place has terrible customer reviews. Zero stars.

I had two vehicle taken in for inspection and alignment,…read more Both of the vehicle passed inspection and had alignment when it shouldn't have had either done Because when I looked at the vehicles myself after having shop do it, I discovered one of the vehicle had torn control arm bushings (should not pass inspection and had alignment done because it will need to be redone) Other vehicle had cracked lower control arm bracket and missing rear leaf spring bracket welds (should not have passed inspection) also the rear leaf spring bushings were shot. After they did alignment on this other vehicle, the upper front control arm fasteners came loose causing clunking feeling and losing alignment, the shop refused to do repair without charge but did the alignment under warranty, when I inspected the fastener, it was obvious they overtorqued it because the washers were bent inward, causing it to later lose its torque and come loose. When I replaced the fastener and took it in for free alignment, I told them to not over torque it. Yet they did anyways as I can see the washer is bent inward, the lock washer was squeezed out of shape. Matt at the shop claims inspection was all good and alignment was in specs, but failed to notice worn bushings, cracked bracket. They will not issue refund without taking a look at it but their next appointment is 2 weeks away, so now I have vehicles that's unsafe to drive. Waste of time and money. This shop does not care about your vehicles or your safety, 3 incorrect alignment, 2 incorrect passed inspection, they just want your money. If you need a shop that does inspection with blindfold, and proceeds alignment without repairing damaged components affecting alignment. This is the shop for you.

When they were changing the oil the guy came out and said our brake pads were worn and should be replaced. We were driving my friends sisters car, so we tried to get in touch with her to consult her. While we were waiting to hear from her the advisor came out again to give us the proposed costs. He told us Jiffy Lube does not replace the pads, we would have to purchase an entire system, including rotors. We argued with him, saying 'why can't you just replace the pads?' He repeated, ' jiffy Lube doesn't do that, we replace the whole system.' This was going to cost us $575 We went 2 doors down to Monro Muffler Brake. The guy there checked our brakes and said there was nothing wrong with them, and charged us nothing. Later we heard back from my friend's sister that she had just recently had her brakes redone. We drove the entire way home with no brake problems. Shame on this Jiffy Lube for trying to take advantage of 2 women traveling alone, far from home. This review applies only to this Jiffy Lube on McKnight Road in Pittsburgh- I love my local Jiffy Lube in Manhattan Beach CA and will continue to go there!

Stay far, far away from this pack of thieves! Also, and this is very important, they adjusted my seat and steering wheel while in possession of my car. That's like groping a man's wife.... I had no problem with that so I backed out and let them in front of me. Then 2 more bays opened up and 2 cars that I was ahead of pulled in. I got out of my car and to asked why I wasn't next and they said they where having troubles there was only one employee down stairs working on all 4 bays. Their reply had nothing to do with my question as to why they moved me and then didn't pull me in ahead for the people behind me. I just left fearing the poor employee they we're abusing doing all the cars by himself downstairs might not be up to the task to do a proper job on my car. I'll never go there again
