There's the usual coffee shop sounds - steaming milk, grinding beans, quiet conversations, and music playing. I had the Spring special- cardamom latte with lavender whipped cream. I asked for mine with oatmilk. I just like the mouth-feel of oatmilk in coffee drinks, not a lactose aversion, so I enjoyed mine with the lavender whipped cream. My drink smelled lovely. It's far too easy to move from "pleasantly floral" to "soap". Spouse had a cortado with 4 shots of espresso & had only compliments. As usual, the service was friendly and fast.

The caramel drizzle and milk made it feel almost like having a stack of pancakes in a cup. The presentation was also a bonus--the caramel and cream swirled throughout the cup made it look as good as it tasted. Denim Coffee in Chambersburg had been on my list to visit ever since it opened. I am just never in…read morethat area. I finally made it there recently when I met up with a friend. When I first entered this version of Denim Coffee, I was struck by how long it was and the lack of windows compared to the Carlisle and Harrisburg locations. As far as the product goes, same great coffee you get from their other locations. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk. I liked the latte, it was very smooth and the flavor of the coffee was really good. Denim offers other drinks like smoothies and kombucha but I always go for the coffee and cannot vouch for those. They also have a limited menu and some baked goods. Not a lot of vegan food options, if any, so I've never eaten anything from any of the Denim locations. Price wise, you're paying less for these excellent, locally roasted coffee drinks than you would at corporate coffee shops or the local shops you'd find in larger cities. Any time I'm in the vicinity of a Denim and looking for coffee, I make it a point to stop in.

It is thick and syrupy.. exactly how's it's described by the owner..not really the consistency I look for in my espresso. You can taste all the flavor notes..but it's BITTER. The barista was rude..when I asked for almond milk like it was stupid of me to ask..I didn't know my question was offensive? The shop on the inside looks like idk.. scary. The ceiling tiles are janky..the floors are stained and old..the seating area as you can tell from the pictures is nothing to be desired..at all. I couldn't tell you if they have a bathroom or not..I wasn't walking back that area to find out either. It's very inconsistent.., to how the espresso is prepared ( one place has a mod bar..this one actually had an espresso machine), to how they make the shop look. Oh and my favorite...no community support. No local artists, no business cards, no outside advertisement allowed in Denims shops. However there are only 3 grounds that are brewed in a day to serve. I got an iced coffee with salted caramel syrup which was really good! They also sell homemade pastries and treats such as pretzels, Rice Krispie treats, cookies, chocolate covered nuts, muffins, etc. We got 3 coffees and a pretzel and it came out to $8.50!! So cheap and amazing for the price (amazing in general). The only reason I knocked a star off is because the woman taking my order came off a little condescending when I was deciding if I wanted an iced latte or iced coffee. There was no line behind me or anything so I wasn't holding anything up. She wasn't mean but I definitely noticed a little attitude- other than that she was fine. That being said, if I lived here I would definitely come here to get my coffee every morning, great coffee and prices!

I've ordered hot and iced lattes here, as well as a hot chocolate, and was so impressed by the well-roundedness of each drink. Make sure to pick up one of the breads that they have at the counter too - so moist and delicious! If you're more of a make you own at home type of coffee person, have no fear. The quality of their roasted beans is fantastic! I've used the 12.02 blend and the Colombia toffee pudding in my espresso machine, and both have pulled absolutely fantastic shots (see photo!) I don't live locally anymore, but this is definitely a regular stop for me while I'm visiting!

Typically I visit the original Carlisle location of Denim Coffee as it on the way to my parents…read morehouse and more centrally located (its weird to even say that since Carlisle isn't that big). Before heading back to Baltimore after our most recent family visit I realized I had yet to visit Denim Coffee at the Quarry. I decided it was time to remedy that. My wife, two kids, dog and I parked along the street about a block away and walked to Denim Coffee at the Quarry. The street is beautiful, with a decent amount of trees. When we arrived at the Quarry my wife, kids and dog hung out on the large porch outside of the shop while I went in to order. Inside, this version of Denim offers a variety of seating areas and types. There was a brick wall that had comfy couch type seating beside it. Then there were regular tables and chairs. I believe there was a bar running along the window with some bar seats. To the left of the entrance there is a stairway with a landing that has some additional seating on it. At the top of the stairs is a large room that is meant to be reserved. I didn't go too far into it because it seemed to be occupied. After the brief, self guided tour, I went and ordered a Nitro Cold Brew with Oat Milk for myself and a mocha with oat milk for my wife. It's the same great coffee at an unbelievable price point that can be found at all Denim locations. This location was a lot quieter (only four people were in there when I went in and they were all super spread out) than the other Carlisle or Harrisburg location. Makes sense since it is the summer and a lot of college students have left campus. I'd be interested to return during the school year to see what their Sundays are like then. If you find yourself at Dickinson and are looking for incredible coffee at a great price, definitely check out Denim.
