The service area (drive up to the garage doors and they will open and let you in) was easy and not crowded like many other dealers. I was waited on immediately and they will text when the service is completed. More soon

First service 5266 miles tire rotation, MPI, adj fluids. Everything on the check list was parked except tires rotated. I told service writer there was some carpet under passenger seat that was not taped down correctly, it was not repaired. Second service 6542 miles, was for leaking strut was repaired in a timely manner. Third service 10316 miles, oil change, tire rotation, MPI. Again everything was checked off except tires rotated rotation. Forth, third Toyota care 15812 miles. Again everything checked off list except tires rotated. 21439 miles forth Toyota care oil change, tire rotation, MPI. I told them of a piece of trim that was loose, it is still loose Again everything checked except tires rotated. This time when I received their survey I noted that the box was not checked for tire rotation. I got an email that told me it was just an oversight that you had reviewed your tapes and the tires were rotated. My next service call was because I got an alert on the car that said my car needed service. I made an appointment drove an hour each way to have the service department tell me they forgot to reset. I have been extremely disappointed in my overall experience with Shottenkirk.

Their repair shop is five stars. They are very busy so have patience. I had excellent results with…read morerepair agent Eric. Eric took ownership of my extensive problems with a dud car known as 2025 Honda CRV hybrid. Bad fuel injectors, crack in piston and more sent this car to the shop several times for many days. Do not recommend this car. I do recommend Eric. He is top notch. He kept me informed almost daily of the car repair status. He really took it upon himself to take care of me. I cannot speak for the rest of the repair staff but Eric shines! FOLLOWUP: In order to rid ourself of further problems with the 2025, we traded it for a 2026 CRV based on reports that the 2026 was a much better car not beset by the 2025 problems. We dealt with Kunes again. Pleased to report they gave us a fair deal on the trade. I say fair becuse they knocked a few hundred bucks off the MSRP which is about all you can expect on a high demand car like the CRV.The sales rep, BEN, was topnotch. He was professional. No pressure. Process went smoothly. I don't fault Kunes for the manufacturing errors. We drove away happy and hopeful. Thanks BEN for your assistance

First time I went there for an oil change and tire rotation, they put some hubcaps on incorrectly and I couldn't even get to the valve stem. The second time it went there, is was for another oil change/tire rotation and a P0847 transmission sensor code. They told my daughter it had metal shavings in the transmission fluid and it need a whole new transmission. They called to speak with me and quoted me $7,000. And I just laughed at them. I called the The Tranny Clinic and they were able to get us in fairly quick. They replaced the sensor and did a transmission fluid flush and only paid $450. They said there was no metal shavings in the fluid.

I'm writing to share my recent customer experience at Shottenkirk (24th & Locust in Quincy, IL)…read more I FLEW to town for a week from Denver, Colorado to shop for a vehicle where my co-signer lives (my hometown, Quincy), and had been to countless dealerships in the area during my visit searching for a vehicle that fit my needs. The salesman Blake stood out among the dozens of interactions I had through the entire process, and is a shining example of professionalism and customer service. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable of the products he was selling, but working in sales/customer service myself, not once did I feel I was being 'sold' anything, and he quickly established rapport with me. Blake genuinely cared and listened to what I was telling him I was looking for and provided options fitting my needs in a very impressive timely manner and answered any questions I had. There were times during my interactions with him where I needed to rush the process along in order to get on the road for the very lengthy drive back to Colorado, and his execution of hustle and sense of urgency never once affected the quality of the customer service he demonstrated. I am so impressed with the customer service I received from Blake that I vow to not shop at ANY other dealership regardless of my residence (remember, I currently live in Colorado), and I promise to frequently recommend all my friends and relatives in Quincy to head directly to him when shopping for a vehicle. A thousand 'thank you's to Blake for making my experience one of the most enjoyable customer service interactions I've ever been a part of.
