The best butcher in the area. Really good value lambs liver which is my favorite meal with bacon and mash.

They are a glance away from the local Woolies but far far below in price, Get there early if you…read morewant the best fruit and veg at a fraction that the Woolies nearby is selling it it!. They have a selection of nuts and their veg is top-notch but has a bit of a smaller selection when it comes to certain exotic products (certain types of tomatoes, Also some asian veg), The staples however are all there in spades, they have very nice apples and huge boxes of the stuff out the front along with some local plants (which is confusing but whatever). Later in the evening you get their discount bags out the front filled with random veg or just random products for very very cheap. Also I noticed they have started to sell a small selection of Indian ready-packet meals (which had a few flavours I haven't seen outside of an Indian food-store) and various spices and other interesting products just inside the door to your left.

This fruit store is deceptive. On the outside (which often you'll have to walk through if you're…read moregoing from any shop to any other shop in the centre) it looks like a market fruiterer. In other words, as much fruit as possible packed in as much as possible. Inside, however, it's much more elegantly displayed. The fruit is high quality, but the selection is small. Service is minimal, too, you'll have to ask if you need some help. To be honest, I really like what they have on display outside. It's where the good specials are, you know, the bag of apples for loose change or capsicums for half the price of the supermarket 50 metres away.

The prices are generally about the same as the supermarket located across the carpark, but the quality is much, much better. You know the difference between supermarket bottom-dollar-to-the-producer crap and quality fruit and veg when you see it, and obviously so do these guys. They're a friendly bunch. They're keen on helping their customers. I've seen them carry shopping bags out to customers cars many, many times. I pretend I'm too manly to accept such offers, so I take my groceries myself, but it's demonstrative of a business that values the people that frequent its premises. I totally recommend this place for your fresh fruit and vegetables.

This little fruit shop isn't half bad…read more Walking in, everything is fresh, bright and well set out. I can see right away where I need to go. In particular, the tomatoes scream out for my attention. They are red, plump, and firm. The also taste as good as they look. Much better than a flavorless Woolworths tomato. The shop is pretty small but it houses a surprising amount of variety. Everything from veggies and fruit, to herbs, and even some deli goodies. Top Shelf Fruits have two other locations in Melbourne, neither of which I have been to. If they are as well stocked as their Brentford Square counterpart, it's probably worth a look.
