I'm not in this area often, especially during the pandemic, so when I saw that they were offering frozen pierogis through Burrow Shop's online grocery delivery service, I had to buy them. I got the traditional pierogis made with flour, sour cream, eggs, potato, cheddar cheese, and salt. It was a 12-pack of frozen pierogis sealed in plastic in a little cardboard box with the instructions at the bottom, which included boiling and panfrying. I was lazy and starving at that point and looking for something fast, so I decided to brush six of them with olive oil and stick them in the air fryer. I should've taken them out sooner because the potato started leaking out the ends, but they were still great. Of course, if I had followed the instructions, I'm sure they'd be even better (I saved the other half to try it making it the way they said). Simple and comforting, not lacking flavour, but not too tame, and not too salty. The six were a great snack for just myself - I can see how people could easily take down plates of these!

But since there is no rush and everyone are having a good time no one cares. There is also a mini arcade to pass time if you arrived to early or need to wait for your time slot. Great for kids, but nothing to write home about. The vibe of Funhaven was more warehouse/concrete vibes. Washrooms were clean. I do wish they had sanitzer bottles placed out around the establishement. I did find myself washing my hands quiet frequently after playing the games (flu season, not taking any chances). The details in each room are amazing. I screamed when the floor opened underneath us. We ended up in the dungeon up to our waists in murky polluted water. From there, two more rooms. Each room was challenging and it took team work to resolve. I have to add that the people have been amazing on both of my visits. Today we bumped into one of the owners who took time to spend with us, tell us about the path to 'today' and where his team is headed developmentally. Babies 11 months and under are free. There is a kiddie zone for kids 4 and under. I did notice that some of the older kids sneak into this zone, which sucks, because they normally play rougher than the babies/younger kids. There is also a dance room/area for kids to dance and go crazy, an arcade area near the food court, and smaller rides for the younger kids like a carousel and cars (the kind that you would find at the mall that costs 2 bucks). Parking is a nightmare. It's always full, and people never look where they are driving. Last time I was here, I saw a, most likely VERY tired mom, back up into another car. It is just mayhem here. Every time, the same employee would rush over and tell us to stand up, even though it was obvious we had just fallen, not sitting around. Nowhere in the posted rules does it say you aren't allowed to fall. What made it even more frustrating was that plenty of others were doing way worse, but somehow we were the only ones being singled out. When we spoke to the manager, all they had to say was that it's the employee's job to "interfere when there's something." Like, of course Sherlock -- but maybe focus on actual problems, not people simply falling in a trampoline park. And as if that wasn't enough, the bathrooms were an absolute disgrace -- filthy floors and overall disgusting. Terrible experience! I've been here several times, and likely the last! I'll go in Laval where at least we are respected and not being harassed for stupid reasons!
