However, I realized he made multiple mistakes that cost me thousands of dollars in my tax return. They were really dumb errors (copying the wrong number over; not including any insurance on my rental costs). The worst part is he wouldn't call or email me back when I was still really nice and asked him. I was actually going to fix the first issue myself but upon the closer look I found the other issue... Perhaps there's more). It would likely take him 10 minutes to fix but now I need to redo the entire return in TurboTax so everything is calculated correctly. The reason we go to a CPA is to do things accurately... He can't even get simple things done right. Don't trust him with your finances.

I had some messy taxes the last few years due to business partnerships ending, learning to navigate a new business, as well as strategizing and navigating through owning a new business in multiple states. His team is thorough, careful, knowledgeable, and empathetic to our business and family needs for both business and personal taxes. I highly recommend their services. Communication is key! Mark and his team are extremely busy (as any good CPA would and should be), but they were always available via text, calls, emails and setting meetings when we needed. I have never felt rushed or that I wasn't being understood or heard. They have been in business for a very long time and very extensively knowledgeable about how the IRS and taxes operate. There were some new things that came up this year and they researched and confirmed many things for me to be able to proactively and efficiently run our business as well as take care of our personal finances. If I had any questions throughout the year, I was able to ask for tax strategies and how to handle things as they came up. Highly, highly recommend! You will not be disappointed, and you will feel like you've been taken care of.

I made a mistake and claimed one of my other kids, but it was clear as day what we talked about and it was wrote down on a piece of paper so this misunderstanding cost me several thousand dollars because now someone else claimed my son and we can't figure out who did it. I've called Bruce at least 13 times left messages. Talk to the receptionist. I understand things take time but two months and you can't even reach out for a phone call or help fix the situation that you caused and I was only under the impression that he charged a couple hundred dollars when you come to find out it's been 4 to 500 every time there's so many other places out there that charge under $100 and we'll get you back more money. We actually tested the theory this year and we got more than we ever got back not using them. I know most of y'all are sitting in your ways and like sticking with the people you know, but sometimes there's better options out there. Hope you guys can be one of the ones that can choose that. Thanks and have a good day.
