More importantly, when they installed the drapes, one of the trim pieces was frayed at the bottom. It looks like they ran out of trim and tried to make it work. Clearly an incompetent job...designer mismeasured the drape length and the fabrication was botched. Then weeks after our request, the absent designer had her sister show us 5 fabrics, one of which we liked but then it turned out to be out of stock, wasting another week of our time. They may be good but clearly $3-4,000 reupholstery projects are not of interest to them.

He worked with us to design the layout, he built and installed custom cabinets, and did the tile work. He even made us a beautiful and unique gate that slides into the peninsula that we will use as a doggie door so that we can keep our dog in the kitchen. Our tween daughter was so impressed that she said she wanted to move into the kitchen (she was only half joking). I could tell she loved her job and cared about her clients. She came prepared for the house visit: brought me a printed notebook with bagua maps laid over my floor plans and took notes for me so I did not have to. We chatted and walked around the house for readings. She also did an energy cleaning at the end of the consultation. The whole session took a little over 3 hours. A few days later, she sent a follow up email with more notes and links for subjects we discussed. Susan was also very mindful of my germaphobic tendencies and offered to bring extra clean clothes and socks to wear inside my house. When I asked her questions, she took her time to double check with her notes before answering. It is a lot of new information to absorb. I appreciated her due diligence. Her method was different from the previous fenshui consultant I tried. It's more natural and less hoaky, which suits my style more. For the price range, it's best to consult with her over the phone and review which package suits you. It's very convenient for me that she takes credit cards!

She was very well prepared and made a great number of thoughtful suggestions and recommendations, and was super easy to relate to. Considering the amount of time she was here, I feel that her rates are extremely reasonable. I will also say that since our consultation a few weeks ago many things in my life have shifted dramatically for the better, perhaps it was from the house clearing+blessing?
