I have not verified with CCAA that picking a particular anesthesiologist is an absolute. Regardless those two are wonderful men in the O.R. It would be a nice touch if they were able to visit you after surgery in Recovery.

The professional and personal attention provided helped alleviate anxiety and worry. The helpfulness of the woman at the front desk was immediately apparent. Tony Amato in the ER intake took my blood pressure and was thorough, professional, and genuinely caring. He established a smooth process, and his personal connection to my high school wrestling coach made a difference. He was the best! Derek was also professional and likable. His positive demeanor helped alleviate any worries. He was a real pro and was incredible! The PA Kristen Gallery who saw me demonstrated an incredible understanding of my emotional needs. She seemed to have a background in psychology. Her empathy and insight brought me to tears in a positive way. I was so grateful for her ability to address both physical and emotional well-being. She was beyond amazing! I can not say enough about her ! The intake person equally amazing and though. She handled my insurance needs was also exceptional. She took the time to address system requirements and ensured all data and addresses were accurate, guaranteeing that bills would be handled properly. Scott provided excellent care during exit. His friendly demeanor and support made the end of the visit as positive as the beginning. The experience at Mass General Brigham in Edgartown was transformative. It instilled a sense of comfort and reassurance. The staff's dedication and commitment to patient care exceeded expectations and gave hope. I brought my mother-in-law to this hospital while we were on vacation due to severe abdominal pain,…read moreand the experience was unacceptable from start to finish. The receptionist was remarkably rude and showed little compassion toward a woman who was clearly in significant pain. Rather than offering assistance, she insisted on having her complete paperwork containing information that had already been provided, all while displaying an unhelpful and dismissive attitude. What followed was a nearly nine-hour wait to diagnose what ultimately turned out to be kidney stones. Even more concerning, during that entire time, not a single doctor came into the room to personally evaluate, explain findings, or discuss a treatment plan. Healthcare professionals are entrusted with caring for people during some of their most vulnerable moments. Unfortunately, this facility failed to demonstrate even the most basic standards of communication, compassion, and patient care. The lack of urgency, professionalism, and respect we encountered was deeply disappointing. This was, without question, one of the worst healthcare experiences I have witnessed. Based on our experience, you would likely receive more attentive and compassionate care at many urgent care centers than at this hospital's emergency department.
