To start, I receive hypnosis on a regular basis and her style of reading aloud from a script for at least 45 minutes in a 3 hour session does not work for me. Had she been open to communication I'd have spoken up to say that I was in hypnosis and felt ready to journey, yet I waited for her to finally finish. This issue would cause me to not re-book with her, yet I wouldn't leave a negative review like this. Before the session I turned the ringer on my phone to silent airplane mode, yet we were on Zoom and the call rang through to my computer, interrupting the session. When we went back into session I asked ONE straight-forward clarifying question, to which she answered "You need to stop thinking so much." I was taken aback yet after a moment recovered enough to say that I am doing my best and cannot be spoken to in a rude manner. Instead of either agreeing to change her behavior, or refusing to change her behavior and letting the session end, she spent the next 20 minutes lecturing me about how hard she was trying and how I just wasn't allowing. Whenever I tried to say something she immediately cut me off and plowed onward with her perogative, even when I pointed out her interrupting. She then sent me an email blaming the bad session purely on the phone ringing, and that I can contact her again to re-book. Wow.

Dr. Behtash was recommended to me by my doctor at Memorial Hospital, Dr. Susanna Magee - who was my doctor for both of my pregnancies. I enjoyed Dr Magee's style, ease of emailing communication, and asked for her to recommend a local provider to be my regular physician. Dr. Behtash runs a micro office, which allows her to spend a ton more time with her patience -- you set up your appointments, and even email her through an app or online. This helps because she is the one who writes back to you - not a nurse! My first visit with her was about an hour.
