The campus has since improved and relapsed into archaic tradition since I've last seen the beautiful red brick buildings, and I'd like to touch on some things I've noticed. For one thing the Raider center is a great addition to the Sanford/Lake Mary campus and I would go a great way just to work out there were my sciatica and Arthritis not so severe. Geoff and staff are delightful, always making sure to attend to the needs of the patrons and dare I say just so polite to conversate with! However, some areas of campus are far less attractive. One of my biggest qualms is with the bird population. I have been on numerous accounts been followed, harassed, chased, and at times mocked by the so called 'endangered' sandhill cranes. Their evil eyes are most unwelcome in my life and I religiously avoid them at all costs. They seem to know me, and regardless of where I am they always seem to find me. Birds hold grudges... nevertheless they are a dark splotch on the pristine canvas of this institution and were I not an avid PETA enthusiast I would recommend complete annihilation of these terrible creatures. Animals deserve life- but these monsters deserve despair as they have caused me despair all these many years. The campus is beautiful! I'd highly recommend it to any scholars searching to gain their AA or equivalent. Go Raiders! Always remember, bird is the word. Except Sandhill Cranes. -Shelley 5/5/23

No one wants to tell you about the next steps unless you are there. They have 1 graduation a year in the summer. Clinical schedules change constantly and that hurts those of us working during the program. This program is very expensive and our uniforms are cheap, curriculum changes too much, we can't get answers about how this program should look. We were supposed to get an informative session before we started nursing classes but we did not. For the price I paid, I am embarrassed to say this is the school I chose but I am almost done so just have to get through it. I was going to bridge but I have heard great things about other schools in the area. It is easy to get into the school but once in you see why, please do your research and weigh the pros and cons. There is a lot of tests that make or break you outside of the class you are taking but they are getting rid of some but that just means there's other BS on the way.

I highly recommend this school if your career focus is hospitality, restaurants, and/or events. There's a major for each with a specialized path plus plenty of opportunities for internship and work being located in the tourism heart of Orlando. The campus is beautiful and small so it's hard to get lost. It's designed to look like a resort-ish hotel so you feel like you're learning where you'll be working in the future. I prefer it 10x more than UCF's main campus. The classes are taught by (mostly) great professors that are knowledgable in the industry and have usually worked in the industry themselves. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at this school and it gets more exciting as I go because I'm getting into my hand selected hospitality electives. The only complaint I have is that a lot of the core hospitality classes can get somewhat repetitive, but I guess that really drills information into your head.
