The smoky flavor of the meat was amazing! They only charged me a very reasonable $2.00 to fill up my 24 ounce flask with iced tea. They finally repaired the overhang at the front entrance, which now affords some protection from the weather. This place is definitely a viable alternative to Jones' BBQ in Marianna. I shall definitely return.

Food was served as it was ready, so while not brought to the table at the same time the food was piping hot and ready to eat when it hit the table. From fried shrimp to catfish, to hamburger, to frog legs the proteins were all very good. The French Fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the baked beans were also quite good and full of flavor. It was hot and ugly outside, but the A/C was blasting inside. Don't delay, just go here - quite possibly the best food and service in Helena.

My fajitas arrived on a cast iron skillet heated to what I can only assume was the surface temperature of the sun. By the time it hit the table, my food had transformed into a beautiful display of charred mystery meat and carbonized veggies. Naturally, I let the server know -- silly me, thinking I might get a fresh plate or maybe have it taken off the bill. Instead, I was treated to a shrug and a firm "we can't do that." Love paying good money for a dish that doubled as a failed science experiment. If you're in the mood for disappointment with a side of burnt offerings, you've found your spot

The curry chicken (menu item SPC 12) was really nicely prepared to my specifications. I asked for extra onions, low sodium, and a spice level of 3 out of 10. The other side food items that came with my "All Day Special" were just meh/mediocre (unimpressive fried rice and tough, reheated sweet & sour chicken). Given that there was only one lone waitress on duty, the service was surprisingly efficient and personable. It was pretty amazing how this establishment completely filled up with patrons during a Friday lunch hour. Thus, their free-for-all parking lot can get packed with a jumble of cars.
