They completely dismissed and discounted my mother's complaints and sent her home with a broken bone in her spine. Fortunately, the doctor's here took a fresh look and found this fracture and a couple other problems that had been ignored by her other primary care doctors. The ER Dr. White was amazing and had wonderful bedside manner. He actually seemed to care, how incredible is that?! Nothing like getting a full explanation on the current care and future plan for helping my mother get out of the hospital and continue on in her golden years. Everyone was great during our visit to the ER and we appreciate all the loving care my mother received here.

I think maybe she's overworked or at the end of a long career but somewhere along the line she forgot she deals with people who are about to have a life altering procedure. Long story short, she called to setup my HEART surgery and as soon as we hung up I realized I had a question about some testing that I needed done before my HEART surgery so I called right back and got her voice mail. I left a short message that I had a quick question and if she could call me back I'd appreciate it. After three days and two more messages, I called a deferent number and was able to get the answers. On the fourth day I get the long awaited call back. She started of in a short quip tone. I'm not exactly sure what her initial question/statement was but I just said "oh, thanks for calling back but I called the number on my paperwork and was able to get the answers I need. Apparently she took that as an insult and dropped the guilty person old stand by response "WELL I'M NOT JUST SITTING AROUND WAITING FOR YOU TO CALL!". YES ma'am you are. That's the line of work you chose. You provide customer service via the phone. THAT IS YOUR JOB!! She went on to scold me with how many calls she takes and how many doctors she works for. AVOID THIS URGENT CARE AT ALL COSTS - Completely Unprofessional and Negligent!! I've never written a negative review before, but my experience with this urgent care was so unacceptable that I feel obligated to share it. I visited on February 5th for vertigo and was met with a series of issues that reflect gross mismanagement and disregard for patient care. 1. Two-Hour Wait in a Room With No Explanation After being taken into a room, I sat for two full hours without any communication from staff. No updates, no nurse, no doctor--just left sitting there. That alone would have warranted concern, but unfortunately, it only got worse. 2. Wrong Blood Test Results As someone on an immunosuppressant, my white blood cell and vitamin D levels are always low--this is well-documented. The results they gave me were completely normal, which immediately raised red flags. I followed up with my neurologist the next day and had my labs redone. Sure enough, the new results matched my usual levels--not the ones provided by this urgent care. This suggests either a mix-up or a serious error in reporting results. 3. Prescription Nightmare I was prescribed Zofran for vertigo I have been having for days and was told it would be ready within an hour. The pharmacy never received the order. I had to call multiple times over FOUR DAYS (Wednesday through Saturday), and each time I was told it would be sent over. I finally got my medication five minutes before the pharmacy closed on Saturday. Absolutely unacceptable for something that should have been done the same day and was left dealing with my symptoms without medication. 4. Unauthorized and Mysterious Billing Then, on May 22nd (over 3 months later) I was suddenly charged $164 from my bank account without any prior notice or explanation. When I called, I was rudely told, "Well, that would be your deductible..." My deductible for urgent care is $50, not $164. And even if there was an issue, why wasn't I billed at the time of service instead of nearly four months later? I called to dispute the charge and was told someone would call me back. No one ever did. At this point, I've involved my lawyer because this kind of billing practice is highly questionable, if not illegal. This urgent care failed on every single level. Communication, accuracy of medical testing, timely delivery of care, and responsible billing. I should have written this review after the prescription fiasco, but the billing issue was the final straw. If you value your health, your time, and your money, go elsewhere. This clinic has demonstrated a complete inability (or unwillingness) to provide even basic patient care. They do not do their jobs, and I do not trust them, and definitely will never step foot in this place again.

The bottom line is although I got terrible care and was released before medically ready and without a discharge plan, I have a great support system, family and friends, I still fell through the cracks. We (have to or we are charged) afford them the courtesy of a 24 hour notice if we cancel on them, however them seem to be unapologetic when canceling a patient. Additionally Kathy, the receptionist I presume, even had the audacity to raise her voice with me when i told her that yet another cancelation was unacceptable. Apparently the nurse (!) is sick and therefore all patients assigned to her are being cancelled as a result. As I mentioned earlier, this is not the first time my appointment was cancelled. That said I would think - as a professional place of business - that they would have a contingency plan in place in the event the nurse gets sick. Seems like a no-brainer. In closing, I am torn as the doctor I am supposed to see has come recommended, but the professionalism and decency even is appalling - rather non existent. If this is the treatment you receive just to schedule a wellness pregnancy appointment, I pray they are more accommodating in an emergency and/or birth. I'd say use at your own risk. I'd hate to judge the physicians based on the lack of professionalism of the back office women, who seem unconcerned about the bad reputation they are creating for this office.
