The tour was excellent. Donovan taught us a lot as we walked through the squeaky clean distillery! It's a spacious and beautifully curated area. Everything is done with intention and homage to Papa Joe and his legacy of agriculture. The tour ends with sampling, my favorite was the Sweet Roots! And I ordered a seasonal s'mores martini which was delicious!! This place is a definite 10/10!

What a great surprise! Delta Dirt Distillery is just getting started; they're pouring vodka, and have bourbon and gin on the way - all distilled from sweet potatoes from their family's farm. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We were greeted warmly and offered a small sample of their vodka, then chose a couple of the specialty cocktails on the menu. They were $12 each, and generous pours, perfect for sipping as we took a break from sight-seeing. I love that there's a Black owned small business taking a chance on Cherry Street, and wish them every success. We'll be back!

The Delta Proud!!! I felt proud after I drank it!

I loved going to this distillery! The entire distillery is a WHOLE VIBE! This atmosphere allows you the opportunity to just chill and relax. This is a small black owned business located in downtown Helena, AR. The Vodka is A-mazing to say the least and has a wonderful smell. The Vodka has won a Double Gold award for 2022 in the World Spirits Competition, so you know they are the real deal. They also have Gin and Bourbon. Their liquors are even located in a few liquor stores in AR, TN, and MS and will be in more across multiple states sooner than later. So if you need a place to relax and unwind, you have to make a stop at this AR distillery.

Wow! This place is a symbol of all that is good in America! The Williams family - Harvey, Donna and their two sons - started this business a year ago. They came up with their own recipes for their beverages and grow the sweet potatoes on their nearby farm. Their establishment is attractive, welcoming and comfortable. They are exceptionally friendly and positive. The Delta Dirt Distillery is a first step towards restoring Helena to its former glory. This is the American Dream in action! Highly recommended!

    The actual distillery.

A group o friends recently hosted a bridal shower at Delta Dirt Distillery in Helena AR. Great venue! As a family own business they are making Vodka, Gin and Bourbon out AR raised sweet potatoes (the family raise them). If you are ever near Helena go visit!

Ok, read about this place in Forbes and had to try it. WOW! The vodka (which in made from sweet potatoes) is truly unique and delicious. The cocktails they serve are absolutely terrific. And the staff, super friendly. If you are anyplace even close, it is definitely worth the detour.

The building sits right by the Mississippi River, like it knows it's got the best view in town. We stepped out of the car and were immediately greeted by none other than Elvis Presley himself--or at least a very confident bronze version of him. Nearby? B.B. King, mid-strum. I hadn't even picked up a brochure yet and was already planning a full-on Memphis playlist. Inside, the place was spotless. Cool air, clean restrooms, and a staff so friendly they made us feel like we were long-lost cousins just coming back to visit. One of the ladies behind the desk insisted on handing us "everything we might need"--maps, coupons, and a cheerful rundown of what not to miss in the city. She even offered to take our picture with Elvis. I didn't say no. Out back, the view of the river was unreal. Bridges stretched across the water, sun glinting off every ripple. People were sitting on benches, sipping drinks from vending machines and watching the barges roll by like slow-moving giants. We were only supposed to stop for five minutes. We stayed for almost forty. Five stars, no question. The Tennessee Welcome Center doesn't just welcome you--it invites you to fall in love with Memphis before you even get to the first stoplight.

First things first, the meet up spot was not well described he mentioned landmarks such as meeting at a firehouse that neither me and my companion nor the other members of our tour could find. It started at the museum where MLK was assassinated. And it had nothing to do with ghosts or paranormal activity. We then moved on to other locations throughout downtown Memphis that were also underwhelming. The stories that he told often ended with nothing to do with paranormal activity or ghost sitings. In my opinion it was colorful historical facts about the city which were cool to hear but after almost two hours it got old when I realized it was more often than not, would not end in connecting to ghosts. My tour guide, Bayleigh, hosted a captivating evening of spooky yet -True- stories told in places where the history is still vibrant. As we visited the Bluff City Ghosts sites, I had a few other questions about Memphis and its history, and Bayleigh answered so many questions for me that Memphis now feels familiar to me--as well as intriguing! This was a great tour. I can't recommend it enough. Thank you, Bayleigh!
