Delta's "apology" (?) for our seven hour flight delay. No explanation.
    Bradley C.

When your flight is delayed OVER SEVEN HOURS, you get no explanation via email or app... you're going to miss your connection, your vacation excursion, and the first night of your hotel that's already paid for and non-refundable. Did we mention seven hours (and still counting) without an explanation? But hey, here, have a free Coke!

    Total cluster. I HATE DELTA

Delta are you kidding me? Having these three gates board at the same time what an incredible nightmare. People everywhere and it is hotter than a cricket on a June bug up in here. I couldn't have hated Delta more until today and it's definitely my least favorite airline. Complete nightmare of travel started by weather issues today. Now we have someone calling the boarding that doesn't even speak clearly.

I have no major qualms with Delta Concourse G, other than it requires a brisk and long walk to enter in and out of it, and that they've littered it with sub-par food options. Compared to other dated sections of the airport, though, G has the following: - iPads at just about every table, including "inside" restaurants. - Numerous charging stations and outlets. - Open convenience "stores" with plenty of snacks and Minnesota-themed gear (including your favorite sports teams). - Plush seats. - Modern and clean bathrooms. I'd plan to walk 10-15 minutes of walking if your gates fall somewhere between 14-22.

I hate flying...as does everyone here right now.

Perfect. Plenty of space and food. The spot if you need to work or relax before your flight.

This was my first time in this airport. Signage and lighting were adequate but the Somalians I talked to for help lied to me to get me to leave them alone. That's a bad look for the company. Plus, I'm a nobody to them. No customer satisfaction. No supervisor to make things right and no apology. I expect nothing. But ONE thing I will do, is spend my money somewhere else and completely bypass this airport all together.

The ticket agent that checked me in chastised me for not using the kiosk to print my own bag tag and printed it for me only after I said it had been a while since I'd flown I didn't know about the kiosks. As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch after our trip in from LA, and found the food and experience to be decent. The club is over 21,000 square feet, making it the biggest at MSP (though not nearly as big as the newer Clubs at SLC and LAX and ATL). It is located on the upper deck of the airport, with entrance via elevator from the terminal floor. Its big feature is the year round open Sky Deck. There is a great variety of different seating, with various barriers giving different levels of privacy. The food was OK, with salad and a hot chicken dish being decent. This location continues to use real plates, bowls, and utensils, so bussing is a must to allow seating to be quickly reused. I did also stop by the bar to get a mojito, but the bartender did a poor job in making it (didn't muddle the mint, or use a shaker, and didn't bother measuring)...neither my wife or me bothered finishing it. Delta continues to allow visits after a flight, and with no AMEX Centurion Club at MSP, this club is a decent choice to visit for a drink and some hot food if at MSP.

The space itself is enormous with tons of seating, which makes it easy to find a comfortable place even when it's busy. The decor is classy, modern, and really well designed and thought out. It feels more like a high end hotel lounge than an airport space. The bathrooms deserve their own mention because they are shockingly nice and incredibly clean! The food and drink options are fantastic. The buffet always has great choices and it stays well stocked. I have been here for both breakfast and lunch and both were excellent. There is a huge variety of non-alcoholic beverages available and the bar offers a wide range of complimentary drinks and the bartenders do a great job. The staff here really help elevate the overall experience. Everyone is friendly and helpful and they are great about clearing plates and glasses from your table so the space stays clean and comfortable. One of the coolest features is the sky deck. It is bright, spacious, and even has its own bar which makes it a great place to relax before a flight. My favorite seats in the entire space, however, are the gold chairs facing the windows in the main lounge area. These chairs are perfectly positioned so you can watch the planes come and go. I always try to grab one of those. If I am flying out of Terminal 1, I do not care where my gate is, I am coming here. I have even shown up to the airport three hours early just to spend more time in this lounge.

Sun Country Airlines - Consistently Reliable and Truly Minnesotan!…read more As a native Minnesotan now living in San Diego, Sun Country has always been my go-to airline. In the beginning, I chose them because they offered a convenient direct flight home. Something every parent traveling with a baby truly appreciates. Over the years, that one baby turned into two (now 12 and 9!), and every summer, our family flies to Minnesota on Sun Country as a yearly tradition. This year, an unexpected family medical event required me to travel sooner than planned. I called in to make changes to my ticket, and while Miss Heidy wasn't able to waive the fare difference, however she went above and beyond to help. She patiently walked me through options, including combining our family's Sun Country rewards points to make the new ticket more affordable. That level of understanding and customer care means so much. Especially during stressful times. Thank you, Sun Country (and Miss Heiydi!), for continuing to make travel between my two homes a little easier and a lot more personal.
