A large rock chip meant my windshield needed replaced. This was the outfit my dealership recommended. Called and scheduled an appointment a week out. They gave me a 4 hour window, so I woke up early and waited and waited. No show, no answer on the phone. 2 hours after the latest they should have been there, I finally manage to get someone on the phone only to be informed they didn't have my part and therefore I wasn't even on the schedule. I'm told they left a message informing me of this, but they hadn't taken my phone number down correctly, so I never received it. Wasted 6 hours of my day for nothing. Work order was placed almost 2 weeks before service. Special arrangements were made on my end to get my vehicle to the dealership as Delta Auto Glass doesn't have the ability to calibrate my windshield. Dealership called me 5 hours after the windshield should have been replaced saying that they hadn't shown up yet. Long story short. Apparently they didn't have my windshield in stock and there was no attempt to reach me to let me know before I called them to figure out what was going on. Time is precious people....you have wasted mine and I am not pleased. Will be placing a negative review with my insurance carrier as you were the first to pop up on their list of repair companies. I called Missy over at Delta Auto Glass and found out it was way less then I thought! I set my appt. The tech that came to my house was very nice. His name was Leo. It didn't take him long to replace my windshield I even got the windshield with the pony on it! They also replaced my rear view mirror! I didn't even have to leave my house! Called them and they were 3 weeks out on appointments, was able to get on the schedule. Called them the day of to inquire if they would call before arriving to replace my windshields. They informed me that they didn't order my windshield until yesterday and need to reschedule for another week out. Made an appointment to have my windshield replaced on a Friday and they no-showed and then called Monday with a lame excuse and rescheduled. I got my windshield replaced. I call again to have them replace a windshield on another vehicle and the guy tells me he will meet me at 3pm. Due to this I had to leave work early to meet him at the time specified and he doesn't show up or call. Two hours later I call the main office and they say they will call me back. The team at Delta Auto Glass is professional in the extreme. Even during the crazy situation we all find ourselves in with Covid-19 I was able to get my windshield replaced. This wasn't just a typical windshield. My vehicle is a 1968 International Harvester pickup with an extremely curved shape. My windshield had a chip in it from last year that started to quickly crack out to the sides in a matter of days. I called Safelite (only because of the commercials I gues) and they told me the next appointment they could travel to me was in November and quoted me a really high amount. I called my mechanic (Tom Dwyer Auto in Sellwood, who by the way is amazing and honest!) and they referred me to call Delta Auto Glass. We were going on a road trip in two weeks and I was frantic when I called. The person who answered the phone was calm and understanding and really put me at ease. She confirmed the type of glass I needed and went through the process of telling me exactly how to figure it out. She even spent time quoting the different prices for glass preferences! Wonderful. A technician showed up right on time 10 days after I made the frantic initial call. He finished the job REALLY FAST and it looked great. He answered all of my ridiculous "what if" questions because we were leaving in two days and he seemed really patient and understanding of my interest. The rear glass in my vehicle broke. My neighbor recommended Delta Auto Glass. I contacted Delta first thing Monday morning. The rear glass installation on my car requires the vehicle to sit for a couple of hours to allow curing time. Delta recognized this and also recognized that I was at work. I was impressed that they seem to juggle their schedule to get my mobile installation done early that same day allowing curing time before I got off work. The Installer Technician was quite professional and appears to have done a quality job. ( I used to install auto glass so I have an experience perspective on this). He was engaging and answered all my questions. He also did a nice job of cleaning up the broken glass in the interior. During my mobile installation, one of my coworkers asked the tech. a question about a problem with his vehicle. The tech took the time to answer his questions. My coworker was impressed enough to have Delta do the replacement and appears satisfied with the service as well. My boyfriend called and made an appointment to get the drivers side window fixed on my mustang. He told the receptionist on the phone that he knew the brackets were broke and they need to be replaced. The lady quoted him right around $80. Ok, cool. Come fix it please. Now keep in mind my boyfriend was on his way home from work so I had to deal with the guy when he got here. No problem. So he shows up, within the estimated time frame, so no issues there. He asked me what the problem was. I told him that I wasn't sure if the window fell off the track or what the problem was. He said "ok, let me take a look at it to find out what he needs to do and he will let me know before he started any work." I said, "please, that would be nice" so I go back inside and go about my business. I go out a couple minutes later to see what he found out and he had the whole door tore apart (window, speaker, etc. To which my boyfriend claimed was not necessary) the technician said it's not off the track (my boyfriend already knew that and communicated that with your company) he said the brackets were broke and needed to be replaced (again, already told your company that) he quoted me $100 (what happened to the $80 my boyfriend got quoted for the same job?) Anyways, I told the technician I would make a phone call to discuss it with my boyfriend and let him know if we want him to go ahead and do it or not. I went back inside and my boyfriend told me to just have him do it for the $100 anyways because he doesn't want to have to do it. So I go back outside and tell the guy to go ahead and fix the window. We're ok with that deal. Now he tells me he can't just fix the brackets unless I buy a new window. Wtf! At this time my boyfriend is still on the phone with me and tells me to tell him to forget it. We don't want him to do it at this point. So the guy stands there and tells me even though he's not doing the job, he still has to charge me. B.S.! Was pretty much my response. So my boyfriend hears this and agreed with my response. He decided to call the business and make a complaint that the guy is trying to wrongfully charge me. And this point I'm getting irritated and told him to just leave the car the way it is and leave. We(my boyfriend) will put it back together. I didn't want him doing anything else to my car that he could potentially charge me for. So he starts grabbing his tools and was putting them in his van. I turned around and went back in the house and proceeded to go about my business thinking he would leave when he put his stuff away. I look out the window and this guy has my car door open again working on it. I went out and asked him what he was doing and reminded him that I told him to leave the car as it was and go away. He told me that he was putting it back together. At which I.demanded him to get away from my car and go about his business. He proceeded to argue and didn't get away from my car until I stepped out towards the car and threatened to call the cops. It's ridiculous when a companies employee(s) do not act in a professional manner. And try to take advantage of the fact that I'm a female and am probably not very knowledgeable when it comes to the working of my car. I'm not as stupid about it as these companies think. I was referred by my AAA insurance to fix my side window on my mini van through Delta. It was quite nice that they traveled the 40 minutes to my sisters house to fix the window. They scheduled my appointment the following day between 3-4. When they failed to show up by 4:00 I called. The person answering the phone said the office scheduler was currently away and would call me back and also stated she is sure the technician was on his way. At 4:35 I called back again because I have now been sitting home all afternoon waiting to run my errands until after this guy shows up. The office scheduler is now back in the office and sounds pleased to assure me that I am still on the schedule for today but the tech is running behind and will be here closer to 6:00. He shows up at 7:30 and after 15 minutes comes to tell me they actually have the wrong glass but will have it the following day "for sure this time". So they schedule to come back the next afternoon. Once they come back the next day with the correct glass they did a really great job.. but unfortunately they are super unprofessional to not call clients to say they are behind and how do you have the wrong glass when your were given the car specs ahead of time.
