I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two-seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. Nobody pays extra for a middle seat. My assigned seat, K6, had no cushion whatsoever. I had to stack pillows and blankets to avoid severe back pain. The customer service experience was equally frustrating. I called the number provided, was transferred repeatedly between Detroit, Chicago, and other offices, and received conflicting information each time. One representative directed me to another number, who then sent me back to the original one. Eventually I got the information I needed, but only after an exhausting loop of transfers. Onboard, the plane itself was attractive and most flight attendants worked hard. Unfortunately, many passengers behaved poorly--loud, rude, and inconsiderate--and cabin cleanliness was unacceptable. The lavatories were dirty after only a couple hours in the air: urine on the floor and clogged sinks. For a carrier of this profile, that level of sanitation is shocking. This was the most incompetent and disappointing airline experience I've had. I will not fly Royal Jordanian again. I would rather pay more or take a longer route than endure this service again. read more

Jesus Christ--even trying to get a COMPLAINT to you all is impossibly difficult. When did Delta turn into such an incredibly SHITTY airline? Tonight was one of the worst travel experiences I've had in YEARS. Every single Delta worker with whom I spoke today was completely and utterly unhelpful. My flight was delayed by an HOUR--which set back my getting to the hotel--and caused a chain of events including being late to pick up baggage, not being able to find help to direct me to the right baggage claim, not having enough signage to direct me to rideshare (this is on the airport in Atlanta), and then getting me stuck outside the wrong entrance of the hotel. All because I was late starting with your flight. And what explanation is there for wasting hours of my time with this bull? Nothing. And let's talk about why your seats are *so* uncomfortable and why people can recline *so much*. Why is your "complimentary" food cart so unimpressively cheap? Why the hell do you never have enough room for every carry-on bag such that I have to check my luggage when i don't want to and risk you losing it or not letting it arrive with me--which you have done before. read more

Delta is especially proficient at the Boise Airport at getting your bags to the bag carousel. I have stopped trying to carry on my roller bag When I land in Boise, spacebecause by the time I make it down to the carousel the bags are already waiting there. Not sure how they do it, but it's a pretty awesome feature! Go Delta baggage handlers! read more

Delta Airlines switched my gate before flight without updating my boarding pass until moments before take off which was after boarding had closed, causing me to miss my flight. They're just bad at being an airline it's as simple as that. We need to nationalize the industry. read more

Do what you can to never ever have to have a layover. On my trip back home from Chicago the flight was late which would make me miss my connecting flight. The gate agent said that she got me a flight on another airline and so I got down to that other airline, and know the ticket agent did not get me a ticket she got me a reservation. Spent an hour and a half waiting on hold to get to a ticket agent to help me get home.... The only thing that person could do was get me on a flight the next morning with no compensation for cab or hotel or meals.... And $100 credit to a future travel. After a whole lot of tears and I'm not embarrassed to admit it, a red vest which is a supervisor worked his magic was able to get me on a plane that night to go back home and it was an upgraded ticket to first class which is the only reason for three stars instead of one. By the way do not get the beyond meat burrito it has zero flavor lol read more

The seats have become so small that it is painful to fly with Delta. I'm only 6'1", but my knees were pushed up against the seat in front of me when the passenger reclined, and the arm rests barely gave room for one arm - but are supposed to be used for 2 passengers. On top of that, the stewardess on the flight from Boise to ATL were just plain MEAN. One of them has a serious mask problem - she came over the speaker system to tell people to pull your mask up BETWEEN BITES of food, and said that passengers would be reported and removed from the flight if they were caught with their masks down (???). At one point turbulence made the servers stop beverage service - so the entire back of the flight never got any water or beverages. When I asked for a water the stewardess seemed angry at me for bringing it up. Then we had more warnings about pulling up our masks. Do not fly in Delta if you want to be treated like a mature adult... you won't be. You'll be treated like a potential criminal. Avoid this airline at all costs. read more

They say they give military discount, but refused to apply it to my sons ticket. When we asked for military discount, we were told that it "only applies to certain flights and not during peak times of the year" So, Delta apparently only gives Military discounts when it's convenient for them and NOT for Soldiers traveling for holiday leave. Not good Delta....you should provide the discounts as you advertise. Or simply let the public know that you do not support our military. read more

Today I had to book a flight for my daughter and her cello. I had tried calling and doing it with a representative over the phone and was hung up on. I went into the Boise airport and an amazing lady named Shelly helped me to get my daughters flight booked along with a seat for her cello. Shelly was wonderful and spent nearly an hour assisting me. I just want you to know that Shelly went the extra mile and it made my day! Thank you Delta. I know who my new favorite airline is going to be. read more

My $330 plane ticket couldn't be refunded since it wasn't a "first class ticket," nor can I even use it again, talk about the absolute bs. Went with these guys since I didn't want to fly with Alaska, cuz they suck too, but it looks like I won't be flying with Delta either since they only care about refunding people who can afford luxury flying. read more

I made reservations to Palm Springs with a return flight 3 days later, I thought. I actually made return reservations for the 31st of the NEXT MONTH instead of three days after my flight to Palm Springs. I called the Frequent Flyer member's number from Delta's web site and a young sounding lady named Bobbie worked with me and showed great kindness by helping me reschedule and even got the $200 change fee waived for my wife and me. I really appreciated the kindness and good humor with which I was treated. (She laughed at my self deprecating jokes, never making one herself.) I do not get to travel often, but when I do, it is nice to be treated as if I am a special Medallion club level member, even when I have never made it even to the Silver level. Thank you Bobbie, and THANK YOU Delta! read more

Recently flew from Boise to LA. I had a great experience with Delta. The seats were comfy, and the snack was much better than peanuts. Wi-Fi in flight was cool too. I recommend and will use Delta again in the future. read more

Extremely rude, very unwilling to help. They also tell you one thing, but the next day say it's incorrect. We ended up not being able to catch a flight, and they would not help us out, and kept giving us the runaround when we asked how to get a refund. Very hard to deal with read more

What in the world is wrong with Delta lately. It seems their last concern is their customers. I have been a loyal customer for years. However recently I have had my seats cancelled without notifying me, and delays due to poor scheduling. Yesterday my wife and I were flying to my daughters in Boise Id. Knowing how screwed up flying into Minneapolis St Paul is with overbooking to connecting Boise we decided to fly longer to Seattle Wa. and then back an hour too Boise. BAD CHOICE !! When we landed in Seattle we had to wait on the tarmac because of some problems at the gate. When we finally got off he plane Gate A-5 there were no screens for arrivals and departures. We had to wait at the gate for the counter person to finish with another customer to advise us where to go. We were flying out of gate B-21 about a 20 to 25 minute walk. No people movers, no electric carts etc. Seattle is not a Family, Elderly or handicapped facility. My wife an I struggled to get to the gate and just made it. Next surprise we had to board an overcrowded bus to take us to our plane. Next surprise a series of ramps to climb ( also not handicap friendly) to board our flight. We thought our troubles we now behind us but unfortunately we were wrong. When we arrived in Boise we again sat on the tarmac because there was now ground crew there to bring us into the gate. After about 15 minutes we were advised by the Capt. he was making another request as they never responded to his first request. after another few minutes a crew showed up walking at a snails pace looking like we disturbed them. When Delta seems to care less about service and its customers I think it might be time to switch airlines as both Southwest and United seem to have flight although with different connections but a better reputation on how they treat their customers. read more

There was a change to my mom's flight and no effort was made to contact her by phone or email. We got to the airport at 5 AM for her 6:25 flight and the machine printed out her itinerary showing departure for tomorrow instead. So we had to wait in line to speak to a customer service rep. who told us it was due to a mechanical issue in SLC. Okay, not much they can do about that except make up for the inconvenience (in fairness, not in freebies). Again they failed. He offered to schedule her for a 9 AM flight the same day, although she wouldn't arrive at her destination until midnight rather than the original 4 PM. She asked if she could bump her return date back a day since she'd now be losing half a day of her trip (not to mention about a day of sleep), but no, they could only do that if she left tomorrow morning instead, and she only had 20 minutes to call the person she was visiting and make up her mind. I don't see the reasoning behind that other than trying to inconvenience her more to make sure she didn't get half a day longer than they caused her to lose. So instead she lost that time and gained a $6 "breakfast voucher" which we used on Moxie's watery coffee during the 4 hour wait. read more

I travel very frequently for my work and I must say that Delta has not only the best ticket prices for the western USA places I go to but the best service as well. I get timely travel text message updates and since they use Salt Lake, LA (my hometown) and Seattle hubs I rarely get stranded like so frequently happens with carriers that use Kansas City or Denver Hubs. Yeah, Delta IS as good as airline travel gets. Book it, travel it, explore it and love it!! read more

Delta Flight 1252 SLC to BOI on 12-4-2014 at 2310 hrs. OMG that was the WORST landing ever. I think I lost 3 fillings on this landing. It wasn't even a landing I would call it a controlled CRASH and roll. Geez, please spend more time in the flight simulator before you hurt someone... A charge for luggage are you kidding. No wonder people attempt to jam pack their luggage in the overhead compartment. read more

I made reservations in February for an upcoming trip in August-October (international). I received a notification that there was a connection conflict because of a schedule change for one of my flights. I called the reservation line and was told the hold time would be lengthy - up to three-and-a half hours! I hunkered down, put my phone on speaker, and rode out the cr#@*y hold music. Three-and-a-half hours turned into four-and-a-half hours!!!! Really? I quit. Delta used to have a call back service so you wouldn't have to wait on hold. What happened? I'll make a trek to the airport to sort things out - if all goes well, it should only take an hour. What has happened to the state of customer service these days?! read more

Never use Delta in Boise, they don't hire enough bagging agents, their flights are delayed so often that you have to rebook the next day even if you are at the airport 3+ hrs in advance....to cheap to hire enough people, I also would never work for them, too much stress when understaffed read more

I don't normally fly delta and today I know why. Everything with them is a hassle, the crew that work the counters are rude and I honestly have no tolerance for it. I ended up booking on a different carrier when I was in the airport. I'll never fly with them again. read more

BOISE, ID: Delta only has a couple of gates in this airport but they do a pretty good job. They get us all herded on the plane well and do a nice job of calling out if someone is behind and making accommodations. Few amenities at the gate and not many charging stations. Maybe not their fault. Overall, it's just fine. read more

I am really impressed with what the new CEO of Delta Airlines has done for this airline. I have avoided Delta Airlines for years after having several miserable flights with them. I had to book a flight with Delta recently and was surprised at how much has changed over the years. First of all their employees have great attitudes, somewhat like southwest airlines, which they have not had in the past. Also everything has been updated on their planes and there is much more legroom. I have flown four times with them now in the last month and I am very pleased. read more

There's not a lot to say here, given my Salt Lake to Boise quick flight. Planes left and landed on time and were a little cramped, but nothing too unmanageable. It was a little plane, but that's probably par for the course for that route. On a little chip shot flight like that, there's not going to be much beverage service other than water reasonably, so no worries there. Cabin temp seemed overall pretty good for most of it and if you have to use the bathroom on that short of a trip, you're doing something way wrong. This continues to be my airline of choice and nothing on this trip affected things one way or another there...very solid performance overall, all things considered. read more

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT fly Delta from Boise to Seattle or vice versa. You will ALWAYS have a minimum of a 2-hour delay. If you fall for their first class upgrade nonsense and your flight is rescheduled, they will throw you in coach and steal your first class upgrade fee. Also, don't fall for their mileage booster scam. They will take your money and not give you any miles. read more

Yes, you often have to stop in Seattle, Portland, Denver, SLC when flying to larger cities, especially on the east coast and of course international but I would prefer that than having to navigate an unfriendly (in terms of convience), HUGE airport. The airport is located far enough away and yet close enough to grab a ride share. Then you don't have to worry about a car, parking, and how much it will cost to let your car sit for days. I am sure this is more difficult for people that live out farther than Boise or Median though. Food option and amenities are limited but the reality for me (and likely many) is I don't hangout in the airport long since it is either my starting destination or end destination. I am excited to see all the remodeling and upgrades happening though! I hope it will a remain with a small town feel but with big city connections. Thanks BOI.

He was reprimanded by the flight attendant and was told he hadn't paid for a carryon. He was sent a survey where he shared his experience. You would think they might respond to such a disappointed customer but no response whatsoever. Apparently, no customer service!

Last year my family did a trip to Kauai via Southwest and they made it so easy. This year we did a trip to Boise and it was a nightmare. First off, the assigned seating makes no sense. We were either in the back row and in class 3 or in the front of the plane and in group 8. Made it very hard to put our bags away. They took away their family boarding which meant we had to walk down the tiny aisle with toddlers, multiple bags and multiple car seats hitting other passengers as we made our way down ( it just makes no sense because you have assigned seating- just let me have some extra time to settle). The lady at the gate check gave me hell with our carseat although it was a Cosco ( airplane approved). Then on the plane, the steward told us to put my daughter rare facing and I thought it was a new regulation- so I followed. Then halfway through the ride, another stewardess came out telling us that in good faith she can't let us fly this way and made us relocate in the middle of turbulence which caused my kid to get scared and start screaming. On our return trip, they also told us at the check in counter that our bags were fine, but prior to boarding they made me check in my bag due to space issues. But on the plane there was plenty of overhead space available. To put a cherry on top of everything, our steward ( who may have never been on a plane before) brought our drinks to the wrong aisle 5 minutes before landing and poured the tomato juice mix all over the poor guy sitting in the aisle seat. I'd still love to fly Southwest, but after this experience, I'm far more likely to shop around.
