On yesterday's drive, we took a slightly different route as we were starting the morning from the Aloft Hotel in Pleasanton. Hence, when the tank indicator looked low and with a long drive on CA 88 was ahead of us, the Waterloo Gas & Liquor Market was the logical place to stop. The price seemed about average for the area and the actual fueling stop was short and efficient. We were all stocked up for snacks, so maybe next time.

I will be filing a corporate complaint on this location on about the employee Linda. I have had…read morenegative experiences in my past with businesses but this takes the cake. Never have I experience such blatant disrespect & audacity from an employee to a paying regular customer. Every Tuesday I usually come to this location. I typically buy a couple drinks and some protein bars or snacks, use the restroom and they pay the $2 to use the vacuums. In fact Linda herself is usually the one I encounter at the register when ringing me up and she will give me quarters for the vacuums. I will vacuum my work truck and typical throw away ONE trash bag of mostly empty bottles and wrappers... typical trash. Usually it's the size of a Walgreens or Walmart bag, Maybe on two occasions I threw away a kitchen size bag. One week as I was about to throw away a kitchen size bag which actually was only 1/4 full... so actually less than a Walmart size bag of trash.. Linda was outside rudely said "Can you not use this trash can I don't want it to be full, can you throw it away in the dumpsters". I was very confused because I showed her the TWO trash cans near the vacuums were completely empty. She rolled her eyes and proceeded to ask again to throw away at the dumpsters... which were locked up and I had no access too. I place it next to the dumpsters brick wall since I had no access to the dumpsters. As I drove off I thought to myself, wow.. what a rude person, why is she asking me to not use the trash cans? There are FOUR TRASH CANS outside that are for CUSTOMERS. Two in front of the store and two more next to the vacuums... the whole point of them are for customers who need to throw away trash... I let it go. A few weeks later I arrive again, as I pull up to the usual parking space next to the vacuums , within what seemed like 30 seconds she comes out and says "Excuse me you're not allowed here anymore!" I say, I'm not allowed!? Why not?.. She says I complained to the manager that you always use our trash cans... Um excuse me... That;'s why they are there I told her. I then explained that I'm a paying customer why can't I use the trash cans. She said you should be using the ones at my job. Then it became blatantly obvious why she has a problem with me. TWO OBVIOUS REASONS.. #1 She is extremely lazy, and does not want to work. #2 she seems to have a problem that I'm in a work truck... which doesn't matter at all. She then proceeds to take pictures of me and my work truck without my consent with another employee that looks like what could her sister. She then called my job and complained to them in detail,... my job could not believe what they were hearing. They said the same thing I said... why can't he use the trash cans? They couldn't believe the audacity and laziness from this employee. Keep in mind we're talking about a regular size trash bag with regular trash, once a week next to the vacuums that fills maybe 1/6 to 1/4 of the trash can... and they're 4 trash cans. I can't believe she called my job to complain and ban me... a paying customer that spends money here every week from using the trash cans.. It's obvious she is extremely lazy and expects to keep all four trash cans completely empty despite me paying to use them!!! I will be filing a corportate complaint on her and will follow up on this until I hear how this will be handled. Quite frankly this may even be grounds for discrimination or harassment. I will wait to see what Chevron does before I take this into legal matters.

The parking lot was really packed and the gas pumps were close to the main entrance so made the traffic worst when parking or trying to find a spot close to the entrance. The setup on this Costco was kind of weird. It had produce in isles with other products. There was a lot construction going on in the fridge/ freezer area so maybe that's why' It seemed very confusing and unorganized. They did have other items like all of the stores do. A lot of Hispanic products here and more produce selling here. I found some stuff not at our location which is why I always go to different locations to get more things to buy. This store seemed pretty big in size and a lot of products. Not a bad one to shop at.

Will be using that for Meal Prep.

Google Maps redirected us from our usual route, so we ended up on a bunch of back roads / highways. Since we were about to get back on a real freeway, the hubs decided to stop here for gas. The above were the prices on the sign I saw while here. Tho Idk if they have higher or lower prices if you get a car wash. Typically Shell has that. This station may not have had a car wash tho. I used the restroom. Not the cleanest, but it was fine. There's only one for all genders. On the way out, I decided to grab some snacks. Got two bags of Kettle Chips - Habanero Lime and Jalapeno, and a Tillamook Meat Stick - Jalapeno. I didn't get an itemized receipt, but my CC charge was $7.57 for the three snacks. There are quite a few fast food spots around. I saw a Taco Bell, McDonald's, etc. So if you wanna grab some quick food along with gas, this station is convenient. REVIEW #3541
