I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE: They could not perform ultrasounds when I went, requiring visits to the associated OB or even the ER in urgent situations. Spent 4 hours and tons of tears in the ER because heartbeat was not detected due to this lack of in-office capability. All my medical concerns and discomfort during pregnancy were repeatedly dismissed and met with "pregnancy is uncomfortable", basically deal with it. This led to missed and delayed diagnoses, including unmanaged levels and late-detected anemia. Insensitive comments about my weight had me feeling body-shamed during pregnancy. I was once asked if I noticed the beautiful thin pregnant patient in waiting room because she was great! During my quick labor and once she actually acknowledged my pain, asking if I wanted epidural, it was too late. At one point, she yelled at me to shut up. My postpartum appointment was impersonal; she did not remember basic details about me and also asked the gender of my child she had just delivered. It was laughed off as she was so busy, how could she remember them all. The associated OB she must work with to overlook her patients, Dr. Cantero, provided rushed, impersonal care. We received quick ultrasounds without much explanation or even time to enjoy the experience. He left the room so fast once, leaving the door wide open while I was reclined half naked in the chair needing help to get up. Worst of all, he incorrectly gave us our baby's gender ensuring he was "99% sure." I still STRONGLY advise choosing a qualified OB over midwifery, especially if complications or health concerns arise. Nelly lacked empathy (possibly the knowledge) and care to send me high-risk help in my situation. With such great reviews on both providers, I felt the need to leave my honest, detailed experience hoping it helps someone. High ratings don't always mean high quality, especially when those reviews lack detail.

A great office, filled with really amazing professional WOMEN. 100 stars for the female doctors,…read moremidwives, lab techs and office staff! Love all the midwives and doctors, especially Dr feingold, who is a true scientist and knows what she's doing. Doesn't walk in dripping in jewelry and makeup, just a doctor who jokes about how she is pretty much always at the hospital, even when she's not working, which is awesome. Laurie gibbons is my favorite person ever, such a dedicated healthcare provider. HOWEVER, ZERO stars for the male doctors, Newman and arcelin. Dr. Newman, is your typical condescending, disrespectful male Dr with zero bedside manner, and he actually made a mistake on my son's circumcision. How the fuck do you mess that up? It has become a huge stressor for my husband and I amidst having a newborn. We now have to take him to a pediatric urologist and subject this newborn baby to more unnecessary pain and medical treatment. I cannot believe what an unprofessional asshole Newman is. He's lucky to have his practice run by female doctors who take their jobs seriously and are committed to providing actual medical care and not just treating everyone like they're insignificant and essentially mutilating newborns.

I see the same tech every time I go in (maybe she's the only one?) and she's kind and a little eccentric, but we have a great rapport because of this. I really like dr.deutsch, both as a person and as my doctor. He communicates in such a clear and respectful manner, always directly addressing whatever concerns I have. I like that he takes the time to go over results and will explain everything in depth. Another thing I appreciated was when I was waiting on my nipt results from my ob office (which is insanely busy), he actually called me with the results first, which was awesome. He and my ob communicate and share information so attentively and that makes everything all the more smooth. I typically avoid male doctors in general, but I have so much respect and appreciation for dr. Deutsch. I do not plan on having anymore kids (especially living in this state) but if I did, I'd be happy to come back.

Dr. Deutsch does not deliver babies (anymore) or do C-sections, thus when he recommends a C-section, he has no personal outcome to your decision; I appreciate this perspective greatly. I'm not sure how much I'd trust the advice of a doctor who has a financial incentive to recommend such a major surgery. There's none of that here. From the beginning, I've felt very comfortable with Dr. Deutsch. It starts off with the clean and pleasant waiting room and the always considerate and warm staff. I've had more than one technician give me an ultrasound here, and they've all been nice. Then comes Dr. Deutsch, who is very professional but with a down-to-earth, humble tone. He comes off as very accessible, which makes it easy to ask him questions. His genetic counseling was clearcut and easy to understand. Dr. Deutsch saw me during my first pregnancy and now is also overseeing my second. Thanks to all the great staff at Maternal-Fetal and thanks, Dr. Deutsch!

At my sister's check-up visit, we waited for a few minutes before being brought back. The medical assistant was very nice and pleasant. She took my sister's vitals & told my sister what exam room she would be occupying. My sister walked herself to an exam room. My sister was then visited by a Dr. Tracy Burton who literally took 2 minutes to ask my sister how she's feeling, listen to the baby's heart beat and then ask her if she had any questions. She didn't go over what the progress was since the last visit. She didn't measure the growth of her baby bump since the last visit. My sister explained that she fell a few days before and brought the medical records from the hospital she visited. This doctor looked at the records & handed them back to my sister. I'm a Nurse & my first instinct would be to get a copy for my office's records but no, she gave them right back to my sister and offered no advice. Everything this Doctor did, I could have done myself and more. Clearly she is more concerned with having a job to payoff student loans than actually being a Doctor. It's really sad

The last visit I was told to 'come early or late' by the receptionist. I asked what that meant and what I should do. She said come early. Okay. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment and still waited like usual. It's a shame because the Nurse Practitioner is super nice, but as a professional woman I need an office that can keep a schedule. When I commented to the receptionist about the wait time she told me that everyone waits at the doctor's office. She waits an hour and a half at her doctor's office. My advice: Get a new doctor. That is what I am going to do! After waiting for an hour and 20 minutes to be seen I was told by the doctor that I was at the wrong office. I needed an ultrasound, which I explained to the receptionist. She failed to mention that the ultrasound technician was not available. I was then asked to go to Boca and wait over there for service. Unbelievable! I am obviously a little frustrated while writing this, but the level of customer service was truly disappointing!
