If you want your child to learn advanced language, writing, reading, and math skills to prepare them for school, send them here! My son has flourished here and is on his way to the gifted program which he is more than well prepared for. He was reading at 4 and his math skills at 5 are those of a 1st grader. Every teacher here is amazing from the Director, Ms, Hannah to Ms. Jackie, Ms. Mitra, and Ms. Shavani. There is ample room for students to have outside play but of course academics are stressed to give these kids the best start. Ignore the free TK/K programs and send your child to a high quality early education center. You will not regret it!

AND the recommendation DID NOT disappoint; I am so grateful. My son has been attending Park Montessori for roughly two months, and I have noticed such a big difference with his language. His vocabulary has grown drastically. His communication and social skills have also improved as well. He now shows extra interest in reading books and coloring more often since going to school. He is currently in Pre-K and the school has a very positive and inclusive atmosphere that helps make my son feel welcome, safe and included. The staff that work here are so incredibly understanding, exceptional and professional. You can truly see they really care about each child. Their programs are well structured and provides and great learning environment for ages 2 -5. They also send updates on how my son is doing or what activities he is doing throughout the day which is SO great. I love getting pictures of my son playing with his classmates or doing schoolwork. It amazes me how fast the staff helps these children adapt to their environment. Thank you, guys, so much. If you are looking for a structured, highly educational, and fun school/daycare for your child or children, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this establishment!

All Saints is the BEST Preschool…read more Let me first start off my sharing that my husband and I researched 20 local preschools and daycares, visited 9 in person, and All Saints stood out as the obvious choice. Staff here are caring, kind, and truly invested in helping children learn and grow. My child comes home most days with artwork & unique projects. Teachers here help tiny tots with problem solving, conflict resolution, and navigating big feelings. Again - this school was our top selection, as well as our son's pick (#1 pick for us parents due to the high emotional EQ & overall proficiency of the teachers, and our son's #1 choice probably due to the facility's sizable sandbox). All Saints has a monthly calendar with events, subject highlights, birthdays, etc. Parents pack lunches & the school provides morning & afternoon snacks. Kids get lots of outdoor play when weather permits (which is ofc most days!), weekly yoga, Circle Time, lots of independent play, with a focus on child-led learning. I could not speak higher of the staff - Ms Dana, Ms Samantha, & Ms Ellie are truly a gift. My only regret is that we didn't find this school sooner. Thank you for everything, All Saints Preschool!

I was terrified of placing my child in preschool. While I knew it was inevitable and I wanted her…read moreto learn how to interact with others at the library, I was also scared that she would feel abandoned, or that her needs wouldn't be met like I could meet them. We had this referral from our friends when Ariel was 1 and we had full-time work from home. They said "just wait until she is 2...this place is awesome and only $200 a week." Almost as soon as our daughter turned 2, we looked into it. It's a small, quaint little place full of children that remember your child's name and they're all so sweet. The women that take care of the kids are absolutely wonderful, loving, and more on the progressive side. They love when Ariel wears her RBG & Nirvana shirts. They are open to all cultures, all walks of life, and they show you how to give your child the best experience there. The establishment also has fun little newsletters & events if you care about social justice, activism, and community building in general. I had a blast with the fundraiser too. Pizza, bubbles, and a whole party! More importantly, I have seen Ariel grow so much as a human being, and she loves it. There are times where she will literally just run to the preschool and excitement for water day, or just to see her friends and go on the slide with them. She's so proud of the crafts that she does with the kids, watering the plants, and she remembers the names of the kids too. She gets invited to birthday parties, and she's so thrilled to take her lunchbox home every day. There is a sense of ownership and purpose for her that she gets to feel, just like we get when we go to work each day. This place has been a Godsend for us, this is the best place we could have for a child and at such an affordable price. We couldn't believe that this place could even exist. We do the full week price, because if we want to take her out of school - - and it's still reasonable enough to support us all for the week. When we first had Ariel, we were paying a personal friend $400 a week to watch her for 30 hours a week, and with one person it's not always reliable and sometimes she would want to take off early - understandable for one person watching one person trying to make a living. Nevertheless, our daughter didn't get to have as much contact with the regular kids each day and have interaction in the way she does now for a much cheaper price. Now we can afford more care for both kids when we need it. If you live in the Burbank, North Hollywood, or San Fernando Valley - I would highly suggest this place if your child is between 2 to 4 years of age. Our child is not even potty trained yet so we pay an extra $15 a week, but even that is next to nothing. They do also help and encourage parents with potty training too. A bunch of kids just went into kindergarten, so it's the perfect time to enroll!

This principle leads his staff and students with the ideals of the Golden Rule in mind. They talk about fairness and equality. They talk about diversity in respectful, factual, and age-appropriate ways. They do a lot of school spirit and community engagement/ service events. (Examples: Local H.S. Football games, spirit weeks, food drives).... I know I said it, but it's worth repeating , they are very good at keeping the parents informed... Not only about upcoming events, community outreach programs/ opportunities, parent surveys, how to get in on district meetings; but also have kept us very well informed about everything from Covid protocols/updates/ cases, to the day to day incidences that have happened during the school day . I've never been surprised with so much as why my kid has come home with a scrape on her knee. They are really laying the groundwork for creating a culture of accountability, kindness, safety, and good academics. It's November 2021 and during this time of the year, we can say we are truly grateful for this fantastic community gem. Go Brainard Bees!

We both work full time jobs and were in need of finding a daycare that we could rely on. Since almost all daycares have a waiting list we were particular about which one to decide on. We chose "Shahbazian Family Child Care" because Renya and her mother seemed like nice people. Our son was 18 months old at the time and it was his first time away from home. We were told by Renya that he was a bit fussy and would not nap with the other children. Renya advised us that it was normal and he would get used to it and adjust over time. A few weeks go by and we were told that some days he was good, and some days he was fussy. Again, she told us he just needs time to adjust. After two months, Renya told my wife that our son required too much attention and he would cry hysterically whenever she would leave the room. She also said that he was not napping long enough, and it was causing an issue with the other children. Renya told my wife that she would no longer be able to care for our son at her daycare because she could not handle him. My wife and I were both in shock because we put a lot of time and effort into searching for a reliable daycare for our child, and now we were being told that he can no longer stay at the daycare because he requires too much attention. I was perplexed by this because don't all children require attention? Especially an 18 month old? We told Renya that we needed some time to find another form of childcare, and she gave us two weeks. That didn't leave us with much time to find someone, but we had no other choice. In the meantime we had to continue taking our child to the Shahbazian Daycare until we were able to find someone else. It was a very uncomfortable feeling knowing that you have to drop your son off with someone who isn't capable of taking care of him. We were both extremely concerned. With a lot of hard work, we managed to find a decent person who could actually be attentive and care for our son. Someone who was able to give an 18 month old the love and attention ALL children require. We were able to find this person in 10 days, and on my sons last day at the Shahbazian Family Child Care, if you want to call it that, we were told that we would not be getting our $500 deposit back! This completely contradicted what is written in the contract. However, Renya told us that we will not be getting our deposit refunded to us. She told us that it was to cover our childs last two weeks in her care. Yet, thats not what is written in the contract. At this point both my wife and I felt extremely disrespected and were fed up with the whole daycare situation. We were just happy that our child was not going to be left in a place that was not able to handle a crying baby. My son would come home in famine every day. Was feeding a child too much to handle also? Overall, if you are considering placing your child at the Shahbazian Family Child Care, I highly advise you NOT to. Not only may your child not get the attention they need and kicked out of the daycare, but you will be conned out of your money. For the sake of your child, please look elsewhere.
