Loved my lil trip at Silver Spur into the foothills of Yosemite !! They are creating magic there the rooms were still in remodel phase but had very comfy bed, linens and towels so all I needed was there but you can tell they will be turning each room into its own individual experience !! Music was amazing, zipline was a blast cant wait to see it this summer !!

Hello happily engaged couple, We understand where you are…read moreright now in the process. You're excited about the engagement, and the thought of your upcoming wedding. Congratulations. We also know however, that the more you Google looking for answers, the more questions you have! Even if you have a venue, you now need to worry about seating charts, timelines, hairstylists, weather, forest fires, COVID, cleanup- oh my! "Do I even need a wedding planner?" may even be a question that you are pondering- and that is ok! The good news is, this review that you are reading is the review you need. As partners, we were asking ourselves these same questions. In hindsight, we would have been stupid to not hire Terri/Events Extraordinaire. Should you simply care about the bottom line, then skip the rest of this review and just hire her already! If you are interested to know why, please see below. Although one of us was skeptical in the value of a wedding planner, I can assure you that Terri's actions and efforts were invaluable in making our day perfect. From the very first meeting, we were relieved at the methodic approach Terri takes to wedding planning. Your first meetings are simply getting to know each other and learning what the couple wants to achieve with the wedding. Terri fairly listened to both of our ideas and provided unbiased feedback and guidance. These little nudges compounded to big decisions which encouraged us along the wedding planning process. Speaking of the process, Terri has one. She has timelines, 'day of' agenda's, and planning deadlines that keep not only the couple, but also your vendors on track! Although you may expect the planning process to go smoothly, just as we had, of course life happens. We had a serious issues with one of our main vendors (That we found before working with Terri) the month before the wedding. We promptly referenced Terri's pre-supplied vendor list and found someone who was more budget friendly, that produced fantastic results. Then, just one week before the wedding, the HMUA dropped out (crazy we know!). Terri picked up her personal cell phone that same day, to step in, and spent the evening with us hunting down alternates. To us, Terri felt like another family member with all of the right tools in her tool box to help us navigate the complex nuances of wedding planning. On the day of the wedding, we hardly noticed Terri- and I mean that in a good way! Seamlessly behind the scenes, our wedding day and timeline panned out about as perfect as it could be. This letter is a testament to her process, value, and care in wedding planning. We were thankful to have found Terri and now look forward to connecting with her any time we are in the foothills! -Adam & Samantha Klick

I never really understood what a planner would do, but trust me when I say that I would've been completely lost without her! Terri thought of things for our special day that I never would've realized I needed until it was too late. I knew from the very first meeting that she was going to be my calming force for a very stressful day and I was so right! Her value is unmeasurable!! Thank you Terri and team!!

You can learn a little bit more about the history of the building here - https://www.mymotherlode.com/news/local/2823816/tuolumne-county-celebrates-opening-of-first-resilience-center.html . The event was exceptional and this venue played a big part in the success of the event. Parking is easy here and there's plenty of it. The bathrooms are immaculate, modern, and spacious. The lighting was on point too. Always a plus when you're doing multiple mirror checks :) The main kitchen area was clean and well organized. There was plenty of room for multiple people to be in there, and it had a serving window cutout, which allowed for smooth catering during the event and it made for easy clean-up of glasses following the event. The plethora of trash receptacles throughout this venue helped keep all public spaces clear of clutter. The main meeting area, where the event was hosted, was beautiful. It was ideal for hosting a well-planned sit-down dinner event. The ceilings were high and every corner of the spacious room was superbly lit. I appreciated that the layout of the event room allowed for clear visibility of the main podium/stage for all attendees. The sound throughout the evening (for both the band and speakers) was fantastic and clear. This venue exceeded my expectations in every way. It was up to date with all of the necessary equipment, while still feeling welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this venue to others in the future. Trust.

There's a café and a good sit-down restaurant on site, plus an arcade and bowling alley on the lower level, which is a fun bonus. If you enjoy gambling, definitely sign up for a players card. They're pretty generous with coupons and free night offers. For those traveling with a camping trailer, the RV park is very nice and conveniently located within walking distance of the casino. There's also a shuttle that runs regularly to and from the casino. Overall, it's a solid destination and an easy getaway, especially if you're in the Central Valley. It's about a 1 hour and 20 minute drive.

I was expecting music performances and other acts, coupons, all sorts of gaming, and many places to eat (and drink). I saw a parking garage with all of the handicap spots filled. If they had them on other levels, I didn't see those. I saw many, many slot machines, poker, and blackjack. I saw a drink fountain with around 6 brands of soda, one of which wasn't working. The coffee had one not working. No one seemed to be carrying drinks around the floor. There were no musical performances. The cafe was re-worked, according to the person with me, and not for the better. Apparently, there was a buffet. The choices for food were good and the portion was very good for the price. The workers seemed friendly. The gift shop was a bit over-priced but otherwise as reasonable as a hospital gift shop. I sat beside the person I drove to the casino and my machine seemed more favorable, but, it was hungry in the end. I even got ahead for a while. It was most definitely smoky but once we sat at the slot machines, it wasn't bad. Who knows if I'll return, unless someone needs me to drive them there. I usually only gamble when I go out to eat.

Though it was challenging to dance beneath the powerful sun (I sat in the shade) - I still had a lovely time. The Saturday sunset was absolutely breathtaking. The Westside Pavilion in Tuolumne, CA, is owned by the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuolumne_Band_of_Me-Wuk_Indians . In the past number of years the Westside Pavilion has hosted an array of shows including Snoop Dog, Pat Benator, Peter Frampton, Smokey Robinson etc. As a venue - Westside Pavilion is solid. There is lawn seating. There is free parking (though it does get busy for big concert events.) There is plenty of room to move around. There is grass to lounge on. The sound is on point. And throughout the recent festival that I attended, the trailer style bathrooms were easily accessible, well-maintained, and air conditioned. Once the sun sets and the stars illuminate the sky, Western Pavilion is quite magical, but as a daytime summer venue, it can get uncomfortably hot. I recommend coming prepared. The festival I attended was well organized, but mother nature's heat is definitely something to consider. For a cooler time - be sure to bring a hat, a fan, drink plenty of water (the colder the better), and pace yourself. Despite the strong sun that attended in full force at my recent visit to Westside Pavilion- I am thankful that I got to experience this venue first hand. Review: Disappointed by Incorrect Floral Arrangements and Poor Customer Service…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. My Daughter recently ordered a floral arrangement from Wildbud Floral Co for her wedding, with clear instructions and a written confirmation of the types of flowers to be used more so not to be used. Unfortunately, the arrangement she received included completely different flowers--some of which she had specifically requested not be included due to allergies and personal preference. To be specific Roses. Roses were used in almost all arrangement including boutonnière and corsage's. When my daughter reached out to address the issue, expecting at least an acknowledgment or offer to make things right, her contact, Cheyenne was unavailing and dismissive to her concerns. Despite having the original written order as proof, she refused to take responsibility and only offered $500.00 in store credit as the only form of correction. Her unwillingness to admit any mistake, even with documentation in front of her, was frustrating and unprofessional. Clearly $500.00 refunded would have gone much farther in restoring one's business name and integrity as opposed to a credit from a business that fails in customer service. Mistakes can happen--what really matters is how a business handles them. In this case, the lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction left a lasting negative impression. I would strongly caution anyone considering this florist to look elsewhere, especially if you're planning something important and expect reliability and integrity. I'm hoping I'm allowed to download and share pictures of my daughter's day and allow you to compare what is on their website for an outdoor wedding venue and compare with the reality we had.
