After almost three weeks I finally phoned them as I thought they might have lost my phone number. Based on the response of the person on the phone they had not even started the work yet. I was informed that they would 'call me' Three days later I received a call that the ring was ready. When I went to pick it up I discovered that the stone (which is synthetic) looked like it had been 'cooked.' The color had changed from a sparkly sky blue to a muddy greenish blue that looks like there is algae underneath it! When I questioned the damage, the explanation given was that in order to size the ring heat had to be applied and the heat damaged the stone. I think a competent jeweler would have advised me of that up front. No apology or correction was offered...we will never do business there again and suggest that you take your business to more reputable jewelers.

He never mentioned any other criteria on his reasons for buying gold to me. The value of the jewellery was $960. And of course, it is always wise to get a second or third quote. I went to Premiere Jewelers in Kelowna and they quoted me $2500. I asked him why the big difference and I found his explanation very confusing so this is just a heads up if you want to sell gold always get a second or third quote.

They lost my earrings. When they weren't ready when they said, I called a few times. Numerous excuses just saying not ready, sorry got overlooked.
