(Pre-renovation, the building was known as the Regency Apartments and had a terrible reputation. As of April 2019, the photos on Google Maps Street View still show the old property with poorly maintained grounds.) When I toured the property in March 2019, construction was still ongoing and half of the building was boarded off. I toured an unoccupied unit in the completed half and signed a lease for an under-construction unit. The new management team put in a new roof, new elevators, and lights in the parking lots. The apartments have been completely redone and feel brand new - there are new flooring, HVAC units, appliances, storage, etc. The only hint that this building is old is the concrete floor plates, which I prefer anyway (over the flimsy 4x4 wood construction common in many newer apartment buildings where you can hear your neighbors). The property is located a little too far to be walking around - you'll probably need a car (maybe a bike?), but in return, your kids get access to the amazing Radnor Township School District, specifically Wayne Elementary School, Radnor Middle School, and Radnor High School. It is also right by the Radnor Trail. So far, the staff have been helpful and prompt in responding to my queries - I suppose it only makes sense to keep tenants happy after having invested so much in the property. I will update this review should subsequent interactions with the management team turn out to be disappointing.

The nails constantly are popping out of the floors ripping my socks and cutting my feet. The hot water is inconsistent, it's cold nearly every day during the day, I believe it's a shared hot water system and someone is always using up the water before anyone in my home can use it, I have to shower in the middle of the night if I want a consistent hot shower that doesn't run cold after 5 minutes of use. The management is rather nosy and overbearing, they're quite obnoxious and like to spy on their residents every move. Over all I give this place 1 star for convenience and location. The rest leaves a lot to be desired.

On the day of move out I went in person to leasing office to check if they wish to inspect my apartment. They dint show up and said to just drop the keys. Four days later we moved out they sent me email that my carpet has stains and need to be changed completely. Before move out I paid $200 for cleaning service for entire unit and there were no stains at all. I asked Stonegate to send proof of stains which they dint send for a week and after consecutive demand from my end they sent some pics where the stains are not even household stains. I have attached pics below. It looks like paint or varnish stains when they renovated the unit when we moved out. The carpet was also used by previous tenant at my unit as well. But they asked only us to pay for replacement. Then I checked in Google reviews and similar complaint was reported by another tenant (Shannon) as well. Similar pics and stains. (Attached for proof). I tried to reach her but not able to find her contact details. The management never respond to email with a solution but simply send email demanding us to pay for the carpet replacement. They deducted the amount from my advance and sent the rest amount to me. Please be careful when you plan to vacate. Demand them to check your house when you are at the unit. Never agree to inspect after you leave. They will try all ways to take your deposit amount. Update: 13-JUL-23: As you can see Kim's response below that she is not even ready to investigate and simply comment good luck with new house we moved. They never take the effort to listen to you. It's so hurtful and disappointing. :(

You will be a 5 minute walk to the train station, and a 35 minute train ride to Center City. You will be a 5 minute walk to Devon Square which has Target, ACME, Great Clips, Dan Dan (great restaurant) and more. You will be a 10 minute walk to the Radnor Trail which goes for 3 miles. This is a great trail for walks and biking. You will be a 15 minute drive to the King of Prussia Mall, which has a lot of stores/restaurants in the immediate area. This place has it all, I'm truly sad that we are leaving.
