I am here in Delaware and have an important work project that needs to be printed. I saved the project as a WORD document but felt that since there was a Staples store within 5 minutes of my location that I would go there to ensure faster service. I really needed this print job completed by midday tomorrow. The Staples location near my home has always been really great about working with me on various projects always providing excellent customer service. So, I walk into this "attractive Staples" store and smiled noticing that in the print shop there were no customers and three employees just hanging out. One was leaning against the counter playing on his cell phone. It was BINGO ... I won't have to wait to get this project taken care of. As I stepped into the PRINT SHOP section a young man literally sauntered up to me. It was almost as if he was demonstrating what the COOL in a COOL walk is. There was no smile ... there was no "Welcome to Staples" ... but I was still hopeful as I pulled out my I-Pad to show him my project. THREE PRINT SHOP EMPLOYEES ... maybe FOUR ... all standing around ... no customers other than 'moi.' And, I tell Mr. OH SO COOL ... I have a work project that needs to get printed. His first words ... did you go online? DID I GO ONLINE ... NO, I am in your store to get your help to get my project printed HE _ L NO ... I didn't go online. Actually I didn't say that to him but I pled innocence saying I have my document here can we upload it to get it printed. His words ... you need to go home and upload your file or put it on a thumb drive (He may have used a different term but by now I am thinking about the middle finger that he is clearly invisibly pointing at me. Mr. Cool is now Mr. Annoyed with the old man who expects him to do something.). I then asked, when would it be printed ... late tomorrow afternoon ... no earlier than 24 hours from the moment you upload it. Perhaps the steam was rising from my brow by this time as he turned and walked away from me after saying 'ok' as in the conceptual process that I understood that he would even consider uploading it in the store for me or helping me if I needed assistance. Realizing that I was going to head home tomorrow ... and that there are other options ... I went to my temporary residence and clicked on FedExpress's KINKO site. I will be picking up my project on the drive back in the middle of the day tomorrow ... not 24 hours from the moment I hit send. I should have read the other reviews of this STAPLES store ... it seems like the lack of service or rather the disservice I received is a constant at this location. I feel for my fellow older folks who might need assistance ... my suggestion go elsewhere.

After paying $180 CASH on Saturday May 10th, the screen was replaced for the first time. Immediately after the screen was replaced, there was an Error message on my screen, advising that the product was not compatible with Apple, and the screen was glitching. I advised the technician of this before I even left the parking lot, and I was told to wait over the weekend to see if the glitching would "resolve" itself. The glitching gradually became worse. After calling the store on Monday May 12th, I was assured that I could come back and have the screen replaced for a second time. When I arrive to the store, I was told that the screen was actually not in stock and it was currently being delivered from another store. I left the store, and then returned, hours later, at the time the technician advised it would be in stock. When I arrived to the store for the THIRD time, I was told the part hadn't been delivered yet. I never received a phone call, text message, email, or any other form of communication advising that the part hadn't arrived. I then waited for two additional hours... it still hadn't been delivered. When I requested a refund, I was told that it had to be processed in their system and that because I paid cash, they do not keep that amount on hand and someone with higher authority would have to go to the bank... I come back to the store the next day to have my screen repaired, once again. (I called and confirmed it was in stock and the technician advised that shipment had came in that day but hadn't yet opened the box, after I requested, multiple times, to be contacted when the part arrived). After about 30 minutes after the second screen was installed, my phone began overheating and would not hold a charge. I NEVER had this problem, not even once, prior to Fix Ur Crack installing their screens on my phone. I have requested, for weeks, to talk to the owner, Ryan Lawson, and he has not returned any of my phone calls or voicemails. Ryan had communicated through one of his technicians that he wants a chance to "resolve the issue" by testing multiple phone screens on my phone (that are not Apple products) to attempt a third screen replacement. Fix Ur Crack has had several opportunities to fix the problem that they caused. I have requested a refund of the cash that I paid to this business, as they have ruined my device and I have to pay $300 for a new phone. An additional $180 was literally wasted, and when I requested a refund, the company refused, and said they would consider putting my cracked phone screen back on, for the POSSIBILITY of a refund. When I asked if they still had my original, cracked screen, the technician responded with "Well, we keep the broken screens in a bin and I can't guarantee that it's still in there" ... I can no longer use my phone throughout the day, as it becomes too overheated. The battery life is nonexistent and I've advised, multiple times, to this company that I stay at home full time with my baby and NEED access to a phone, especially in the case of an emergency. I've learned my lesson by never paying cash to a business again, and I'm hoping that someone else doesn't make the same mistake by using Ryan Lawson's company, Fix Ur Crack. Ryan should consider Fixing His Morals.
