Dear Mr. Ladden, I would love to have a conversation with you about my recent experience as the final retail customer of an amazon purchase. My furniture is currently in High Point, NC however I am being told it will take a month to deliver it to Mooresville, NC. This is a one hour driving distance. I tried to work with customer service to no avail. I have begun a contact with the company, who is your direct customer, and Amazon about my delivery struggle with Deliveright. I was kept on the phone on hold several times for long periods as they did not want to provide me with your name or contact number. You can listen to the recording. I welcome speaking to you about this experience. Deliveright's website states in its FAQ, as copied below, a 3-5 day delivery time frame. I do feel I was being kept on the phone for long periods of time to purposefully frustrate, dissuade or deter me from being helped. This is against everything I think of in customer service excellence. There are several other things I could provide feedback on as well that were frustrating in the process; the number of text message contacts is annoyingly excessive, the ability to directly contact a customer service representative is extremely difficult, only one date was provided as a delivery choice, no details provided on the process if I did choose that date as far as time frame needed. I could not choose a date without knowing this information in advance. I look forward to hearing from you. It was unacceptably difficult to schedule a convenient delivery date, taking over 6 weeks. The delivery time was not confirmed until 2 hours prior to the start of the delivery window even though they stated it will be confirmed 24-48 hours ahead. WORST DELIVERY EXPERIENCE EVER. This is the most unprofessional and disorganized delivery service provider I've ever experienced in all my years of purchasing furniture and appliances. I was given zero options in terms of selecting a delivery timeframe. I was forced to accept my furniture on a pre-selected day without my consent. When I reached out immediately trying to reschedule, customer service was already gone on their weekend. It took me a few tries to finally get a hold of someone, and I was told that if I cancelled it would likely be several more weeks before they could schedule a new delivery to my home. I do not live in the middle of nowhere! I live in a highly populated area, so how could they not have any other options for delivery dates?! I had to pull a bunch of favors and make miracles happen to make the delivery date THEY SELECTED work. On the day of delivery, they showed up unannounced without a phone call or any advance notice. "White glove service" was more like greasy men with bad BO service. Terrible company and I honestly don't know why my furniture retailer hired them. read more

If I were reviewing only the administrative procedures I would give this company zero stars. I was contacted once about scheduling my delivery, but after that I received no communication about the delivery window. Every time I had to reach out to them. When the item was not delivered as scheduled I received no communication about why they didn't show up and there was no one answering the phone. I was never contacted about rescheduling - again, I had to be the one to call them. Finally the bed was delivered this past weekend. The men were very pleasant and friendly, and they cleaned up after setting up the bed. My only issue is that they placed the bed so the headboard was about six inches away from the wall, and the bed is too heavy for me to move by myself. read more

Even thought company I bought from had wrong street address they deivered to me. They called when they were 30 min away, were well within their time window. pouring rain but they set up under our covered porch. brought sectional in the house (kicked off their shoes!), set it all up, showed me all the recliner settings and cleaned up inside and outside before they left! Today I received a large all wood buffet cabinet from Furniture Unlimited. Since ordering the furniture on line, I was kept appraised of when to expect my item to ship and then given the delivery information once it shipped. The furniture was fully inspected by the delivery company prior to delivery and then I was able to inspect it at my home before accepting delivery. The delivery men attached the legs, cleared away all packing material and carefully moved it to the location I wanted it placed. The 3 shelves were also installed. All of the packing material and the cardboard box were cleaned up and removed from my premises. I highly recommend Furniture Unlimited for quality furniture, good prices and seamless delivery. read more

I was not notified in advance of the time during the day that delivery team would arrive. I called and emailed the contact number the day of delivery but the office did not pick up or reply. Then 15 minutes before delivery, I received a text from the delivery team. The followup of Deliveright is awful. But the guys who did the delivery were polite, efficient and thorough. I ordered a couch from Overstock on Jan 2nd. Overstock shows this shipped on Feb 11th. It is now March 27th, meaning my furniture has been in transit (hostage) for 6 weeks. The tracking data shows it took a good 2 weeks to move from North Carolina where it then went to Kansas City and sat in their hub for over 2 weeks. Each time I tried to contact them, they just gave me a vague response and said that they would contact me when it was ready for delivery. I have been checking their website daily for a delivery update. On Weds of this week, the website showed it would be delivered today (Saturday). I checked daily Thurs, Fri and even this morning and it still showed today between 10-1pm. Hence I got rid of my previous furniture last night so as to make room for my new sofa. At noon, I logged back in and it now shows Tuesday. What?? And then I tried to call them and it says I have called outside of business hours...despite their business hours above stating they are open on Saturdays thru 5pm. There is virtually no good way to get a hold of them or get a firm ETA for delivery... nor has there been throughout this delivery process. I am appalled that Overstock partners with such a lousy logistics company. When it says 'Free Shipping', I guess you get what you pay for. read more

If negative stars were possible, that might come close to how awful their customer service is! We paid for their white glove service through overstock.com. Not only did we not get the white love delivery treatment, we didn't get our furniture! Their sub contractor for the "final mile" was a complete sham of a company, abismal "customer service", and complete liars! Please know that this is a TERRIBLE company and has made a simple process extremely frustrating. My order was significantly delayed and they had said it was my fault. They said I filled out the wrong link but I completed the only one they sent which in turn sent me an email saying my delivery date is confirmed. So it was NOT the wrong link. I tried many times to get a hold of SOMEONE (Ken at the Denver location and Michael Moriarty who is the Head of Operations) to share my frustrations but got absolutely NO response. This has been an awful experience and I would like to warn others from going through the issues I did. read more
