I haven't eaten on that side of my mouth for two years. I go to see him months after the pull and he tells me " it looks like whoever pulled the tooth cracked the tooth beside it" so he sends me to his friend (affiliate) she tells me there is no crack but she sees a cavity and has to do a root canal. I refuse the root canal because I showed no cavity on X-ray. So, I go to another dentist NOT affiliated with them and he tells me he sees NO cavity and NO crack. My old insurance was running out ironically around the time my tooth started hurting so I went back to him because he was close and really wanted to see what he says this time. I gave him a recap of everything that happened and of course this time he sees no cavity or crack. I had a cleaning scheduled, again trying to use coverage, but the billing lady called and gave me a price larger than expected so I questioned it. And in rude form ,as she always is ,she gives attitude and tells me if I have two insurances by law she has to charge me both deductibles even if one covers it. I checked with three other dentists and they say that's not true. So, I cancel the appointment. I will be calling the dental board to find out this information as well. I guess this office doesn't believe in patients advocating for themselves ,because after I get a letter stating they will not service me any longer. What a joke! I wasn't coming back there anyhow!!! I was using that insurance up quick that expired in 2 days for a cleaning. Now that my new insurance has started I was definitely looking for a dentist and office that doesn't give bad advice, refer to affiliates , and respect their patients' rights! Gave me nerve damage from the procedure. Did not fully numb me and didn't listen when I say I could feel everything during the procedure. Dr. Matthew was incredibly rude inspite of my anxiety during the procedure. At first the filling was too large and my bite was off, then shaved it down incorrectly leaving me a sharp point coming off my molar. Now I have to get a second dentist to remove the fillings and redo them (even though they weren't needed in the first place) because they were incorrectly placed and filled Instead of following the shape of my tooth it is a jagged stair step edge, trapping bacteria and leaving my gums inflamed. They are money hungry and are not treating dental hygiene in the correct way at all, setting you up for failure needing more procedures and robbing you of your money and health. If I had a way to get my money back, I absolutely would argue to do so. Look at your own x rays!! Especially post procedure.

She takes the time to answer questions and truly listens to concerns. I went in for a typical cleaning and was experiencing intermittent pain. I've been told by other dentists that I have cracked teeth that need to be repaired, so I was concerned about this pain. Dr. Haffner reassured me that my teeth only have "wrinkles" that come with time and that I do not need additional work. For the first time in a few years I feel confident about my oral health. They are overly aggressive in their communication (ie after missing our daughter's appt due to a family emergency we got an email about "care being better than neglect") y'all she was off her schedule by a week. Calm TF down. There is no neglect here. When taking my son in for his normal cleaning, I responded to a question from a hygienist about juice with we don't drink much juice, usually Mio flavored water if anything sweet. And I was immediately shamed for giving my kid "nasty stuff" I just don't appreciate medical advice from someone not trained to give that kind of advice. Your knowledge dwells with teeth, anything else is opinion. And it wasn't asked for. When I commented on another visit that I have severe dental anxiety (ever since I was a child) I was a bit ridiculed and told "oh it's not that bad" Well to me it is. Especially if you're in my mouth for dental work. I also just don't like that they seem to have a revolving door of dentists. I've yet to see the same one for a visit of either myself or my family. I am also not please with a filling I received, feels like an absolute glob of filament. Even after I asked about why it feels strange. There was also once upon a time a comment made about how "lucky I am to have my insurance cover fluoride treatments". If only they had known how tone deaf they were to say such a thing while my husband was deployed. And to know the things I've had to live thru "to be so lucky". I'd gladly pay for fluoride if... The saving grace has been the front desk staff. They have always been incredibly friendly with my children and that effort goes a long way. Each station to get your teeth worked on is clean and they let you have the remote to the tv in your little "area" to watch as they work on you. I have met both Drs - they are nice enough. I no longer go there, but I do still take my son there. He really likes both the Drs. Definitely a nice place to at least try before making a final decision.
