Delilah's did our daughters wedding in August 2025. Through some magic formula they were able to provide salmon, steak, and a vegan main, along with four salads that were all gluten-free and vegetarian or vegan AND within our not-very-huge budget. The food was sooooo good. Guests are still raving about it. And they did a fantastic job of both set up and clean up afterwards. They trucked everything all the way to the upper Hood River Valley without any mishaps or loss of quality. I cannot say enough good things about them. read more

Heather and Linette were perfect to work with for our wedding! They were relaxed, funny, but very organized and provided great advice. Our wedding was a huge success and I am so thankful that they were our caterers! Onto the food. In a word, "Wow". We served cedar plank wild salmon that Heather cooked on-site and Santa Fe Steak along side Tillamook sharp cheddar macaroni and cheese, a bean salad, regular salads, and fresh berries. This spread was something we discussed together during our initial interview/meeting. I would recommend all of it. I had the salmon, that melted in my mouth and was packed with great flavor, the Mac & cheese that had joined the top 5 best Mac & cheeses that I have enjoyed, and the crisp salads that were loaded with fresh berries perfectly rounded out my plate. I also heard people commenting afterwords how delicious their steak was and I can attest that a day later and cold, it was really good. After having a professional / regulatory relationship with Heather, Linnette and Delilah's Catering for a number of years, I finally used them for "Randstock 2016," my 60th birthday extravaganza held at the Jupiter Hotel in November 2016. As a result, my respect for them and their catering operation, and my affection for them as people has increased a thousand-fold! From this aspect, I found them to be incredibly client-centered, and enthusiastic about helping me achieve the vision I had of my party. They met with me onsite at the Jupiter Hotel to survey the scene and work out the details of table and bar placement. They worked very well with the events staff of the Jupiter. We discussed the type of menu and foods that appealed to me and that would work in the context of the type of party I wanted, and the type of party I could afford. While acknowledging my vision, they also gently dissuaded me from some of my less-than-workable ideas. On the day of the event, they were onsite early and had things set up and well-handled by the time I arrived. They adapted quickly and seamlessly when the unexpected popped up. Their staff was efficient and high-energy, and were a fun, positive aspect of the party. As for the food, I can't say enough! Delicious, fresh, PNW-centric, and completely awesome! Additionally, given that it was a fairly crowded, mostly stand-up party, the food was convenient and easy to handle. I got so many complements from friends about how good the food was and several people said it was the best wedding food they have had. Seriously, that is pretty good considering that we are 20 somethings and each summer involves at least 3 weddings. Heather and Linette catered our wedding this past weekend and they were AMAZING. I literally have nothing but great things to say about them! When we first met them we had a few more caterers that we were looking into but after meeting them we booked them on the spot! Their warm and caring nature made us feel so at ease and they are incredibly funny to boot! They are also incredibly helpful and answered all of my millions of questions. They helped us create a menu that honored my husband's Swedish upbringing while still throwing in some classic comfort food for me! (Their mac and cheese it to die for!) Also, our guests had a lot of dietary issues! We had guests who were allergic to gluten, dairy, soy, and nuts. We had vegetarians and vegans! They were able to make sure that everyone at our wedding left full and happy. One of our friends said this was the only time she has ever been able to eat at a wedding and had assumed she would have to leave early to buy her own food. They even made multiple variations of the appetizers so everyone could eat during the cocktail hour! On top of that, the food was outstanding and really made our day. So many people complimented us the day of and have sent us messages raving about the food days after. My only regret from our wedding day is that I didn't personally get to eat more of the food or spend more time with them! BUT Heather and Linette knew that would happen and packed us a basket to eat later! How insanely thoughtful is that? Delilah's catered my wedding this past Saturday and their food was Phenomenal!!! My guests raved about how great it was and were VERY impressed. I would have been lost without Linette and Heather through this entire process. Linette and I met several times and kept regular email contact through all the planning. She was there to offer advice from picking menu items, what rentals were needed, how many tables and linens should be set, how much beer would be enough, how much cake...., YOU NAME IT! She also offered me a shoulder to cry on when some things with my venue did not go as planned. They know so much about weddings and think of all the little details that the bride and groom don't think of themselves. The entire staff was so friendly and professional. I used Delilah's catering for a corporate event I planned. I shopped around and they were much more affordable than other local catering companies. I was hesitant at first because of the price being so low, but they had me into their commercial kitchen for a tasting and I was out at ease. The event itself ran very smoothly. I used the drop-off service, ordering the food and having it delivered the day of our celebration of life, since I didn't need the full service catering that is available. I loved the assortment of foods offered on the menus (so hard to decide!) and got rave reviews from my guests. Heather was my contact and helped with pricing/numbers and also assured me of safe foods given we had a peanut allergy in our group. My partner and I were looking to book a caterer in Portland for our wedding. We met with Heather and Linette the first time to discuss our menu. They obviously did not hear we wanted a Mexican theme because when we showed up for our tastings (which they charge $25 per person) all they had what's a chopped fruit cup and some Mexican spices they bought at the store. They gave us cold grilled vegetables to try along with microwaved tofu and chicken that had chopped opinions and squeezed lemon juice. Worst spongy food ever!! The ceviche, crab, and salmon were okay. The worst of it all was that they emailed us the next morning to cancel due to being double booked. They had previously told us that they were only dropping off food at their friend's wedding and they were available for our event. I guess they must of realized we were not going to book them after the tasting. They just wanted our $50. This is was so unprofessional!! Also, unlike the few other catering companies in Portland who offer wine or beer with your tasting, Delilah's only offers you water in their basement kitchen. Keep your money, and you can cook this same stuff at home. read more

Delilah's catered my daughters wedding not long ago. The FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. A lot of fresh vegetables and fruits were served, and artfully displayed. The chicken marsala and the salmon were moist and very flavorful. People raved about the food all evening and we have made several referrals. The staff were very friendly, efficient and unobtrusive, The preliminary meetings were very helpful and informative.
