The pork tenderloin was juicy and grilled to perfection; the chicken was marinaded and tender enough to cut with a fork. All the sides were perfect too. I had many guests complimenting the chef! The staff was professional and efficient; making sure water glasses were full and tables were clear. We hire Catering By The Grill for all our big business events and they never disappoint. My first meeting with him was different than with any other caterer: he spoke with me and my mom and was clearly very passionate about the food itself! (Amazingly, I didn't get that vibe from any of the others I met with). We talked through many options and what would be best for the event and the guests coming, during that meeting and afterward, to make sure we had the right menu. I also got to taste test almost everything that I had actually chosen (not just any samples from his menu) and was impressed even with that. One very important thing was the fact that Steven was extremely willing to accommodate dietary issues. I had two friends attending the wedding with severe food allergies (both different ones), and without hesitation, Steven offered to custom make each of them a plate to avoid any cross contamination. No other caterer that I spoke to was willing to do this, but it made all the difference for my friends who were able to enjoy the wedding without worry. Finally, I can't stress enough how good the final results were. I got so many comments during the wedding - even from people who aren't foodies like me and wouldn't normally comment on food - telling me that it was the best and healthiest food they had ever had at a wedding. I would have to agree. It takes a lot to pull that off for a large group of people, but Steven's did it beautifully and very kindly. I would recommend Steven's to anyone!

Chicken was delicious, corn was sweet, tomato dressing was refreshing, I loved the pickled onions and the dressing. The bowl was a bit pricey at $9 but it was a good amount of food and downtown so it's not surprising. I would absolutely go back and try everything else they have to offer.

But, aside from the Covid comments above, how would one know that there was no salt on it until one tasted it, necessitating another trip back to the truck to get salt. So many of my guests commented on the delicious food we served! I felt the pricing was reasonable (especially in this high inflation time) and the catering servers Pam and Marilyn were so efficient and friendly with setup and cleanup. I honestly can't rate them high enough. I especially appreciated that Taylor reminded me that they would have all food/drink things taken care of and I should focus on having a good time- which I did!
