Boasting rich and comforting flavors, this concoction was an amalgam of deliciously smoked meat and veggies swimming in a pool of a savory tomato and herb broth. The next favorite, and honestly the best I've ever had - the ribs. Fall-off-the-bone, moist, saucy and full, these delightful slices of heaven sung of flavor. Before I go on sounding like I ate a meal for a village, we were treated to a lovely sampling. The meatloaf, paired with the potato salad, would be the hit of any party. Finally, and I don't know how the chef did this, but the smoked tuna was so rich and different, it reminded me of eating a fresh and expensive crab cake. My son didn't order because he's not a big bbq eater so the owner brought out a sample of their signature New Brunswick stew. The boy doesn't eat soup either so I had to eat that too!! Got 10 mild and garlic parm boneless bites. The mild sauce would be considered hot anywhere else. Super tasty. Garlic parm was not overpowering and quite perfectly balanced. Highly recommend both. We also tried the chicken empanadas and they were super tasty along with the two dipping sauces. So glad this off the beaten path restaurant and bar has reopened. Can't wait to come back. The entire staff was really nice and we sat around in their dining area admiring all the positive art pieces and news clipping on their history. It's an amazing story of overcoming the struggles of Covid dining limitations. The staff is really the major standout in my eyes. Everyone was just so welcoming, it felt like we were over at a friend's house. The food was great too, wings were up there with the best we had and the rice as well. We ordered some extra rice to go.
