There is little atmosphere compared to other pubs in Seaton Sluice but they do have a relatively cheap selection of lagers and soft drinks, the fairly recent introduction of ales was personally well received by myself.

The Astley Arms has a nice bit of history, being a popular pub with submarine crews during the Second World War. Make sure you read the stuff about the HMS Seahorse's crew who never returned for the whiskey they won in a raffle on Christmas Eve in 1939.
