They don't have a paging service so you can't wait outside, or in your car. They don't provide masks, the girls at the front desk are more concerned about plans for the weekend then signing people in. And no one is called in, so the waiting room is packed. There were little old ladies waiting over an hour to be seen, it was extremely sad. And after an hour an hour of waiting myself, I left without being seen. I highly recommend you go somewhere else.

They have plenty of staff to help out and they are friendly and very helpful. They have a couple of Tv that you can watch while waiting and the seats are pretty comfy, but can use some updating. Most of the time this place is always clean. They have an X-ray tech, and a couple of other services they offer here. The parking is always so annoying, there really isn't much, and that would be my only complaint. Other than that, I'll keep coming here.

When my dad was admitted here he was able to eat, watch tv, sit down, stand for a short period as long as someone helped him, open his eyes, and interact w us... as days went on he was put on permanent bed rest. My dad is a stroke pt and was considered "FALL RISK", the facility allowed him to be on a wheelchair unattended and he fell multiple times at this facility and they had to transfer him to the hospital several times because of his "accidental falls". I suggested hand rails on my dad's bed as he was "FALL RISK" and I was told that they cannot install them because his bed was already close to the ground and management would have to approve it, but after mentioning the bed rails to multiple people... you can bet they DID NOT do it. My dad stopped eating at the facility and had to have a GTube put in, he lost more than half of his body weight and he had huge bed sores and his legs were skin and bones by the time he expired. One of my dad's roommates who is an elderly person who is very alert had mentioned to one of my sisters that the facility DID NOT turn my dad every 2hrs as they were supposed to, he also mentioned to us that sometimes he was turned after 6hrs or 8hrs. I'm not mad at the staff, they were all amazing people. Every person who took care of my dad was very sincere and welcoming. The facility is extremely short staffed and there's too many pts assigned to one person. I feel like if I don't say anything then someone's grandma/grandpa... mom/dad... sister/brother... cousin... neighbor... someone you love... will go through what my dad went through. My dad left behind his wife, his kids, his grandkids and his memories behind. We can no longer feel his touch or see his smile or feel his presence, everything is now just a memory. I feel like... my dad could have lived a little bit longer and he was taken too soon because of all his falls there. I know he was gonna eventually die, but I didn't know he would be taken because of his time spent at this facility. My hopes are that someone from that facility reads this and staffs their facility adequately because all the pts there are someone's loved ones.

I understand that the place is under staffed however we are placing the lives of our loved ones under the care of these supposedly loving staff only to uncover that they are not being treated with true love and care. Caring is the main principle of these establishments and this facility did not uphold this value. Not only do they neglect the patients from proper attention, they do not even keep the residents active as they should, which is one of the promises made to every family. You may walk in and see their schedule board, however you can sit there hours and days at a time and never see the staff go through with any activities. Nothing is available at this place that lets the residents happily look forward to another day. So if anyone is to consider placing a loved one here, please reconsider. They will not be properly looked after, bored, depressed, and their lives will be even harder. The End.

No big deal, I get it. So we make an appt and come back at 1pm. We come back at 1 and doctor is still on his lunch break. We check in and my dad is not seen until 3pm. Maybe because it's Sunday and staff is limited and they were actually very friendly is my reasoning for not rating them lower. So I am grateful for that, but the time it took I could have just drove down to Bakersfield. In the past the urgent cares I have checked into at Bako were no more than an hour wait, some even shorter.

I didn't make any appointment online, but walked in. The practitioner was just going to lunch but they took my information and called when I could come back. I waited probably ten minutes before being seen. Everyone I came into contact with was professional and competent. The facility was very clean. This may be outside of my insurance network, but it was worth it to be seen and have a local urgent medical care. Highly recommend.

They are attentive, respectful, mindful, thorough, and consistent. The psychiatrist I saw was willing to listen to my mental problems and I think June the therapist was a very sweet lady there to just listen which I can always appreciate. I really like the dentist I see. She and the assistants make me feel comfortable and they seem non judgemental. I have the nastiest teeth for a 32 year old. Tsk tsk on me. The substance abuse counselor, Mr. Felix was such a breath of fresh air. He went at my pace and we set realistic goals for my road to recovery. I will always choose their services over anyone else's except I'm in a program which means I have to see my program's psychiatrist only. Very good people and professional :)
