What can I say, she is a awesome Dr…read more It all started 7 years ago, we had just moved to Manteca from the bay and my son in kindergarten fell and needed to be seen by a doctor. Called a few friends and they all suggested Dr Kailey. Her manner with the children and interaction with them is the best. She gives them little nicknames and you can truly tell she loves her job. She listens and discusses your concerns and answers any questions. The office has followed up with us days later when the boys have been real sick to see if we need to be seen again. As we have added more children to our family there has never been a doubt as to who their Dr will be. The office staff is always great and helpful, wait time is generally 5-10 minutes. Waiting area is always clean and smells clean. They have been real good about getting in on same day appts when needed. The only issue I have and this is just my own preference, is that I wish they had a separate area for sick children and non sick. Nothing worse than bringing you well child in for a well check and being around sick kids or vice verses.

I receive an appointment 7-8 weeks after my initial call. After waiting the 7 - 8 weeks they decided to call the day of to cancel the appointment for insurance reasons. (Both the doctor and the staff were advised of the allergy.) Six hours later we called back to ask what was going on, and were met with piss poor apologies and Web MD sorts of recommendations. If you are going to go here, be sure to brush up on your pharmaceutical knowledge, and gird up your loins when you speak with the disinterested staff. Good luck!

I moved to this area six months ago, and have been coming to this doctor for my three year old daughter since about four months ago. She needed an updated physical, blood work for iron levels (WIC transfer requirement), and updated immunization records for preschool. If you have Medi-Cal and/or Health Plan of San Joaquin, this is the best place to go! Luckily for me, I live less than five miles away. For the service they provide, I'd be willing to travel 15 or more. The staff is incredibly understanding to the needs of children, and put the parents at ease when explaining everything. You never feel like a third wheel there. The waiting room is welcoming and calming, and the doctor is amazing! He's gotta be over 70, but he moves like he has enteral youth. During his examination of my three year old to check her lungs with his stethoscope, he let her have it to take hers to make her more comfortable and fun for her. Her fears were completely eliminated. Her immunizations were given to her like a pro, so fast she didn't even flinch. Today, I called frantic because my baby girl was so sick! They immediately had me bring her in, saw her within 20 minutes, and in no time was at CVS getting an anti biotic for her. She still has the nasty cold, but the doctors and staff alleviated my panic and reassured my daughter that "her icky would go away soon". That made my baby girl smile. I've heard rumors that this Dr is selling his practice and finally retiring, so my advice to you is to get in quick if your looking. I'm not sure how much longer until another pediatrician takes over. I suppose he has a right to retire, he's over 70! He's also absolutely amazing with children!

My family and I are new in town and I needed to get my oldest son into a new pediatrician for his…read more7th grade immunizations to start the upcoming school year. I called this office on 7/7/16 and verified that they accept our insurance and arranged for an appointment, the soonest they could get me in was 7/21 (I made it very clear that he needed the immunizations or he couldn't start school and that school starts August 5th, I was told "no problem"). The person who took my info over the phone was very pleasant and it seemed like everything was going to run very smooth. I was very surprised when the person who called us on 7/20 to verify our appointment for the next day didn't even have my son's name correct in the system. The only piece of info that was put into their system correctly the first time I called was his date of birth. The person who called to verify his appointment was understandably frustrated about having to correct all the info, but she was rude and took it out on me, as if I am the one who typed it all in wrong. She then said my appointment was for 8:45, not 8:30 as I arranged in my first phone call to the office. When I asked "so it's 8:45 now, instead of 8:30?" She snapped back "it was NEVER at 8:30".... Umm yes it was. The first time I called, the woman who scheduled our appointment scheduled it for 8:30! Whatever, so we showed up at 8:45 the next day, as instructed. The office was clean and located in a convenient location. I was greeted by the rude woman from the phone call the day before when we walked in. I told them again that we were specifically only there for the immunization needed for school. As I filled out the new patient paperwork, someone asked me if I wanted my son to have a full physical and suggested that he should because it has been over a year since his last one. So I agreed. The doctor did not even show up to the office until after 9. The doctor was nice enough. We would probably go see her again if it weren't for her staff. The doctor completed the examination and told me someone would come in to do the immunization shortly. At 9:45 (one hour after our appointment started) the rude office lady came in to inform me that they didn't even have the vaccine we needed! We waited 13 days to get into this appointment. If anyone had communicated to me that they didn't have the vaccine, we would have made an appointment elsewhere while we still had time! She PROMISED me that they would call me back when they got it (by 7/29). I again empathized that my son could not go to school unless he had the shot! She told me not to worry and not to go anywhere else and to just wait for her call. I even called at one point a few days later to see if they had it yet and she was rude to me then too! I tried anyway to get my son into another doctor and of course they had no openings at this point. The rude office lady never did call me (as of today 8/1) so I ended up having to take my son to the Target pharmacy to get the vaccine and had to pay $66 since it wasn't done in a doctor's office! I am livid! I do not recommend trusting this office to care for your child because obviously they do not care! They knew this was very important and obviously do not CARE! Unbelievable, I wish I could complain even higher up and get these people into trouble! I feel like they pulled a bait and switch on me. Awful!

After 2 days of antibiotics my granddaughter broke out with a rash which was thought to be a allergic reaction. After going to the ER the ER doctor said there is no ear infection and the rash is from taking antibiotics when she doesn't need them! Additionally they have not vaccinated her with her 6 month shots claiming they have none. But after visiting the ER the doctor their told her that DR Nisperos gets vaccinations from the hospital and should have plenty! She needs to retire!!!

Lobby wasn't full of patients waiting and quite empty. Called Kaiser to check Modesto before driving that way for the next urgent care. I was informed that all Kaiser urgent cares stop taking patients 3 hours before their closing time. I may be crazy but feel that they should definitely have that posted or change the hours listed so people aren't driving around wasting time while someone needs care. Last straw with Kaiser! I'll pay the extra premium for Sutter
