Location is amazing!! Amenities are great! We enjoyed our stay here. We enjoyed the spa at night…read more The spa is the size of a small pool. The pool is also heated. Main courtyard is full of activity. They offer beach workout and yoga in the morning on the lawn facing the beach. No breakfast included so we bought a $20 breakfast burrito at Sugar Beats which is an Airstream in the middle of a courtyard by the spa. The coffee in the room was good so I had that. They offer surrey rentals to use on the bike path in front of the resort. They have a small but well equipped fitness center. Couple of issues: ants in the bathroom, completely empty shower gel and sink had drainage issues.

I have had a membership here for 3 years and have loved coming to the hotel to utilize what the membership has to offer. One of the "offers" is that we are given a pool pass to use throughout the year and I thought we were able to bring guests, but I guess that's not the case. I called the front desk and was transferred to Elizabeth who was rude from the get go. I asked if I could use my pool pass for a family member and she said no - only you can use it and the pass is verified with a number on the back of the card. My card does not have this number, and she accused me of lying. She also was extremely unprofessional and said "I don't know what to tell you girlfriend" when I asked if there is anything she could do to help resolve the situation. I told her that I was excited to renew my $350 membership this year but now I will not be renewing because of her unsatisfactory service. Her response was extremely sarcastic saying "Thanks for your phone call!". I expected a lot more from this highly rated hotel. I will not be going back ever again, and people who live in The Colony or surrounding areas should take note of this.

The other only dining location that was better than this one was a hotel we stayed at in Dubai. My wife had requested a 2nd floor unit because we wanted a kitchenette but initially they put us in a ground level unit. The gentleman at the check in desk was more than happy to give us a 2nd floor unit with a kitchenette since it was there mistake. The room was very spacious and the kitchenette was awesome. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy as described in other reviews but we had no issues at all. This establishment is near restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores so you can pretty much get anything you need. I was also very impressed with the Ice Machine, you have to actually use your key card in the machine to get Ice. There is a CVS across the street and please be advised there are railroad tracks about 100 yards from the motel. Traffic could be a slight issue because actual freight trains do come through the area. Eat, Drink, and Be Merry, my Friends!!!

First of all this is a motel, not hotel. This was not mentioned anywhere on their site. That means…read morethat you will have people yelling from their rooms into the parking lot at all times of the night. Rooms have an a/c window unit, meaning that the bed by the a/c will be freezing, but the other bed will be too warm. The rooms are SMALL. Breakfast was from 6 to 9am only. Every time any of the room's a/c units turned on, it was loud enough to wake you. The door had a gap when fully closed, which didn't help any noise cancelation. The new paint was very poorly done and the bathrooms are not cleaned. The vent in the restroom was extremely dirty. There is no security so people will be fighting and yelling until 2am and then again at 6am with no one to tell them anything. Kids were running through the hallway and again, nothing was done. Definitely will not recommend or return to this place.

I reserved a two-bedroom, 1.5-bath apartment that comfortably accommodated three of us, and it could easily host a family of six thanks to its spacious layout and a convenient pullout couch downstairs. The amenities exceeded my expectations--shower pressure was excellent, making quick and refreshing showers easy especially if you're a big group. The condo includes utilities for four people, with plenty of towels provided (Thanks Tina). While there's no air conditioning, the ocean breeze just a block away kept the unit comfortably cool throughout our stay. A nice bonus was having a hot tub in each unit, perfect for relaxing evenings. Parking was also straightforward, with one dedicated spot included. A heads-up for warmer months: if you're sensitive to heat, keep in mind that summer temperatures can get quite hot, and the unit might feel warm without A/C. Additionally, because of the communal setup, it can get quite loud--sounds from neighboring units are audible--so don't forget your earplugs if you value quiet. Off-season, this spot is ideal for friends' getaways or a quick romantic escape. Overall, a charming and practical choice that offers great value and a fantastic location near the ocean.

Didn't stay.... First impression, it was quite nice. There's valet infront of the property. Also bicycles which I assume are for customers. Not sure if there's a fee. The courtyard infront of the entrance had a good amount of seating. Main focal point, the fireplace which was situated near the entrance and also had seating around. They also have blankets on the sides incase of chilly days/night. Inside the lobby, you're greeted with the check in desk. To the left there's a bar which menu wise did have a good selection of drinks. Also was informed that they have happy hour. The lady that was working, very sweet told us it used to be the old elks club before it was turned into the hotel. Lobby, well decorated. Beautiful furniture which makes the property. We checked out the courtyard inside which was quite nice. Clean and simple. A lot of the rooms do overlook into it from the front door. Property is beautiful, clean lines and modern. Didn't get to check the rooms. Locations wise, it's minutes from Main Street which offers many restaurants, shops, bars and so on. The pier and water isn't a far walk either. It's a place that I would like to check out for a weekend.

Here, you will stay in a trailer (possibly an Airstream or something like an Airstream) and you are probably a 10 minute walk to the beach. Beat that. If you have ever stayed in a trailer, you know it's tight quarters. But you get your own kitchen and bathroom and it's a heckuva lot more fun than a bland, stale hotel room. The site has firepits. Even better, they give you complimentary s'more kits with all the fixings. They have BBQs for grilling. They give you cookies and yogurt in the morning. They even give you oranges so you can squeeze your own orange juice. I don't drink orange juice normally but the juice here was outstanding. They have books and games available for borrowing. They have hammocks and swings and picnic tables. They have bikes for free rental. They have freshly-baked cookies that are delicious. There is apple cider and hot chocolate. There are a lot of amenities here which you simply will not find at most hotels. The train runs right by here and it's loud and shocking at first but it doesn't come by that often and you get used to it. Inside the trailer, aside from the train, the grounds are extremely quiet. This is a fun place and something different. The location is great and you get a lot of value for your money.
