It's well organized with a a variety of dedicated staff and vendors. It's a true community experience. The location is spacious and accessible, and the food that I have bought from there is always really good. I have bought baked goods like cookies, breads, bagels, Indian food, and dog treats for my dogs. I've also bought fresh vegetables and handmade soaps. Today I was there on a rainy day, and the vendors were still there and ready for their customers. I was also impressed by the community support because people were still shopping in the rain, with and without umbrellas and raincoats.

This farm is beautiful and no doubt, lots of work; I'm very appreciative to them. Today, I enjoyed picking blueberries, herbs and various mints I didn't know existed but am so excited to taste. I'll definitely be a regular from now on. Support farmers. But local.

Mrs. Renee was in the pen with the goats, and letting a few lucky people bottle feed 2 babies. Melinda was helpful and nice in the pop up shop tent. Nothing was ready to be harvested yet, but we will be back in a few weeks for blueberries.

The place is usually well stocked, especially considering the constant churn of island traffic, and it's an easy stop when you don't feel like dealing with the chaos of the bigger stores. Prices are decent, nothing outrageous, and the grocery selection covers all the basics without pretending to be a full gourmet market. It's practical, straightforward, and reliable -- the kind of place locals lean on because it's there, it works, and it doesn't make a production out of anything. The crowd can be a mix of locals and the occasional beachgoers grabbing last‑minute snacks or supplies, but it never feels as unhinged as the summer free‑for‑all you get at the other island grocery stores. Arlan's stays in its lane, and that lane is "solid neighborhood grocery store that doesn't overthink it."

I saw things that I haven't seen at grocery stores in Florida. We purchased a few snacks along the way for our TNF game. The SugarBee apples were difficult to pass up. They were sweet & juicy. A great evening snack. We were also very pleased with the Lindt Dubai Chocolate. These were the real deal (Manufactured in Germany). I'd purchased some recently at a drug store that didn't taste the same as what we had in Switzerland. It was manufactured in New Hampshire, and had more of a hazelnut flavor. The ones at Kroger were truly pistachio. Loved it! You wouldn't think there's a difference, but there is. I was also blown away by the display of tamales. I'd be at this grocery store more often if I lived in Texas. Is it better than Publix? That's difficult to say. They both have their share of pros and cons. All I can say is that I'd be just as happy shopping at Kroger.
