You do have to lay still with your eyes closed for a while, so bringing earbuds to your appointment is a good idea. I had a gift card that I won from my daughter's sorority auction, and there was a slight glitch with it, but Kay honored it anyway. One more reason to support this local small business! I've gotten lots of compliments, and now my daughter wants to get her lashes done too.
