I think it took them 3 hours or so to install the boards on the floor, lay the padding, and then put down the carpet. They were polite, and obviously took great pride in their work. They did such a great job that I knew I had to replace the generic carpet on the second floor as soon as possible - waiting for the carpet I wanted from Lowes to go on sale again - and now that it's supposed to be delivered this week, I'll be calling these guys again to ask them to install it. I would recommend them 100%!

Working with Peakstone has been one of the most consistently positive parts of my business. I've…read morepartnered with them for years, and their combination of fair pricing, excellent customer service, and reliable workmanship is hard to beat. I primarily work with Juan, but I've met the whole crew that makes the magic happen. Everyone there has such a positive attitude. I love having one main contact to get things done, but it's reassuring knowing the entire team is ready to step in and make sure we deliver a premium product. Juan and his team don't just take care of me -- they make sure my customers are happy, too. They communicate well, they show up when they say they will, and they deliver beautiful granite and quartz installations that elevate every project. Peakstone is the kind of partner every contractor, and homeowner, hopes to find. Bo @ B Squared Renovations

I liked peakstone the best - because the owner came out - and was most personable and gave me GREAT advice and suggestions on the Island. We had purchased this island from IKEA and didn't want the wood top that came with it - Juan came out and just had the perfect suggestions on color and style and AM I GLAD I LISTENED TO HIM! Right down to the counter top finishes. He and his wife worked with me for months - because we had some family illness that we had to deal with in between our selections. Finally he sent his team out when we were ready - and WOW - I love the countertops and the style. We live in New Irving Park on Willoughby and would be happy to have anyone over if you want to see Peakstone's work in person! (pictures don't do it justice.)

Their team was not organized as the job took them 3 weeks to complete on a relatively small job. There were multiple days that they simply did not show up. We believed that one of their employees was drinking on the job because they spilled a drink in our garage freezer that smelled like beer. They damaged our gutter by backing up a truck into it and did not pay for repairs. After the job was finally completed, it rained the next weekend and we were still getting water in the basement. This company claims a 100% lifetime guarantee on their work, but this was not upheld. They would not and have not come back. I spoke with the owner Scott a number of times over 6 months trying to schedule them to finish the repair. He promised multiple times that he would come out, often saying he'd be out the next week, but he never came. As the months progressed Scott continued this unprofessional behavior of stringing us along. All the while our basement continued to have water problems that we paid in full to be fixed. Scott gave a number of excuses and we tried to work with him but it became very obvious that he was never coming back. I'm honestly not sure this company is even doing business now, but if they are I suggest extreme caution when considering them. They may have been a good reputable company at one point, but now they are unorganized and unable to deliver on promises.
