WORST YOGA CLASS EVER! This is not a studio you want to go to. Very rude and unwelcoming…read moreinstructors. Or rather, just one of the instructors, Monica, was very rude to me. The class was too slow, with no music, it wasn't much of a work out, and a lot of deep stretching- even though it was called a "flow class." I was ok with trying something different. No modifications were given for this deep stretching, so I made my own a few times when I wanted to. I was in the back of the class and bothered no one. Of all people, a yoga instructor should know you need to listen to your body. The instructor (who you pay, let's remember) is just a guide. She was very unprofessional and called me out in the middle of class as being "irritating." I was shocked. Can you imagine how hypocritical (to say all this "namaste" stuff and be so rude) and unprofessional that is!? I told her afterwards she should have spoke to me after class, and that she was responsible herself for feeling irritated for something that is completely uncalled for. She never apoligized and I think she is the biggest hyprocrit talking about compassion and peace, when she showed none to me, when I did not know "the rules." (Which I think is bogus, just because an instructor tells you to do a pose, if it doesn't feel right, don't do it. You're paying her, and it's supposed to be fun afterall). YOGA studio or not (above all this shouldn't be happening in a yoga studio), IT'S NEVER OKAY TO BELITTLE SOMEONE.
