Dr. Purser was my PCP. He falsely documented at my last office visit...he said horrible,…read moreirreparable, things about me...things that will affect my ability to get optimal care at any Roper St. Francis facility moving forward. I asked him to correct it, and he refused. His office manager called and said they could easily figure it out by listening to the recording of my visit. WHAT? This piece of crap did audio recordings of all of my office visits, and NEVER informed me. It's called a HIPAA violation. And him refusing to correct his false comments in his notes is called slander. I wouldn't do this to my worst enemy. What kind of a sick, demented doctor secretly records his office visits with you? Lawyer time!

I have been a patient here for 1 year (I am not one anymore). This year I was scheduled for a…read moresecond physical with dr.Noemi Pagan.. I arrived and they informed me that their staff schedule it wrong and it was just a check up. I said I would reschedule and come back for my physical because that's all my insurance would cover. Dr Pagan said it was fine and she could do the physical while I was there. She then proceeded to do a full physical and full panel blood test. Then a month later I start getting huge bills for this visit. I called my insurance and they said it was not billed as a physical. I called the office to ask if they could change the bill to a physical and they refused (I actually called and spoke to them several times). Dr.Noemi Pagan even refused to admit that she did a physical. I am now stuck with a very large bill that I can't afford all because this Dr lied at the time of the appointment and isn't even humane enough to change the billing code when she knows she did a physical that day. DONT GO HERE OR YOU WILL BE UNJUSTLY BILLED AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A HUMAN.

If I could give this practice a 0 star review I would…read more I was a patient at the james island branch of palmetto primary. I would not recommend this practice for any amount of money in the world. I was told that per the American medical Association. I had to see my primary care physician every three months. Turns out that was a LIE. It was company policy not the American medical Association's policy. Turns out they lie about a lot!!!!! I'm furious!!!!! I was also told that I could do telehealth appointments once I moved out of state. When I signed on for my last telehealth visit, the office had no problem taking my payment. About an hour before my appointment was supposed to start I received a phone call from the office saying that the doctor could no longer treat me because I lived out of state. I ended up having to call the office manager and pitch a fit because they were gonna keep my money for the appointment even though it was their fault for not informing me that they could no longer see me. When I asked how long this policy had been in place the receptionist told me they'd known they couldn't see out of state patients for 2 months before my appointment!!!! Do not trust this practice do not trust the doctors that run this practice. They are all about the money and could honestly care less about the patient. What an incredible disappointment.

Mount Pleasant Location: I would give this office zero stars…read moreif it'd let me. I had an extremely frustrating experience with this office and would strongly caution others. I originally came in for a routine physical, which should have been fully covered by my insurance. Instead, I was billed for standard services like bloodwork. It took SIX MONTHS of repeated calls and back-and-forth to get this addressed. Every time you call, you're routed to a call center, which makes resolving anything even more difficult. After reading other reviews, it seems like this is a common issue here. On top of that, basic accuracy seems to be a problem. I'm 5'10" and fully grown, yet they initially recorded me as 6'1". When I questioned it, my chart was later updated to 5'6" -- which is wildly inaccurate and concerning. The most frustrating part: I specifically went in last fall to establish care and ensure continuity for a prescription after moving from NC. I clearly explained that I didn't need a refill at that time since my previous doctor had just sent one in. I was told that was fine and that I could simply call when I needed a refill. When I called today, they refused to fill it and said I'd need to come in for another appointment and pay again -- completely contradicting what I was previously told. Overall, this office is disorganized, inconsistent, and incredibly frustrating to deal with. I would AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Uh- Dr. Maria Dzierzko-Trojanowska First off. Where do I…read moreeven start. I only made an appointment with her office as I've been having pain and she's the only pcp I called that was either accepting new patients or not booked out 8-12 weeks. And boy do I see why now. My appointment was at 3:30, I was called back at 3:45 and dr came in right before 4. So that was good. The facility was old and dated and dirty. When I say dirty, there was a bandaid wrapper on the floor of the exam room I was seated in that when the person who sat me in there she noticed. The fact she didn't pick it up and throw it away was surprising. So the Dr comes in with a smile and introduces herself. After a few seconds we are interrupted by a knock at the door. Another staff member talking about what to do with another patient. Kind of rude but whatever. I get it. New patient appointments can be long and she didn't want to wait. So anyways the Dr comes in, introduced herself and immediately tells me I need a vaccine. She knows nothing about it I've had it, or want it, or anything. She handed me the RX to get it. She went on about this vaccine I know I've had for at least ten minutes until going to my family history. After reviewing how many members of my family have illnesses she starts talking about a referral she's going to give me for genetic consulting. What. No. I don't want that. If I was seeking genetic consulting I would have said so. I told her that wasn't a priority for me and she went on how it should be. I get it. She's the professional. I'm not. But I'm here for pain, not genetic stuff. We are about 25 minutes into the appointment now. I tell her my chief compliant and she says she'd write me a prescription to manage it. I don't want an Rx to manage the symptoms. That's what I've been doing for the last year, hence why I am there. Finally. I want to get rid of the symptoms from the source. When I asked about cause she then stated she'd have to give me a referral to a specialist. So then I question her. How can she want to treat something with meds but won't explain what's going on...? She didn't have much to say besides the same thing she did. Not helpful at all. I was like okay, whatever, I'll go to a specialist. It has to be more helpful than her. So she tells me about who she's sending me to and basically gave me no choice in provider. When I voiced my concern, she didn't care and went on her way with the referral. While she's typing all of her notes and referrals and other stuff my phone lit up. No sound. No vibration. Nothing. I didn't reach to read it. It just lit up from a notification. She then states "oh I can't see you if you're going to be on your phone. Your health deserves undivided attention and I deserve that respect too" in a very rude and condensing way. first off. I agree. Secondly. It wasn't even close enough for me to reach and be on. I almost ended the exam right there as that was so rude of her to assume it lit up that i was going to be on it. But in interest if time I knew I was never going back to her so I let her type her notes. Answered no to all of her questions and I left. On my way out I handed the RX back to the front desk and asked her to inactivate me as I'd never go see her again for anything. Also to cancel the referrals and RX as I don't want those either. Overall very unprofessional. Every nurse there seemed like they hated it. I worked in the medical field for ten years. I went in for 1 specific issue. I was given a 30 day supply of pills to manage symptoms(if it'd even work), 2 referrals I didn't want. The last thing I'd say is about her hygiene. If she's rolling that computer on wheels from room to room and touching in between touching patients, it's probably full of nasty. She went back and forth from touching the disposable part of the light piece that goes in my ear with her bare hands to touching mouse to doing the exam where she's touching me, then keyboard. I was just grossed out.

I really wish they had Saturday hours. I work all week long and cannot take time off to go see them…read moreand I need prescriptions refilled for stuff I have to take everyday and the on call doctor does not call in meds to the pharmacy when they are not open.
