Went there for a 1 hour consultation and it took over 2 hours. I thought the whole experience was weird. The staff was friendly, but the chiropractor was just plain annoying. He kept talking to me about his personal life and I felt a little uncomfortable in his presence. He went on and on about why I needed to see him for 40 sessions, and insisted that I make seeing him a priority. He was way to "salesy" and it became frustrating because he just wouldn't let it go. To be fair, the chiropractor does seem to be up on the latest technology. He clearly loves his field and all the gadgets that come with it. But his desperation for new clients is evident and creepy. It was the worst chiropractic experience of my life and I would not recommend it to anyone. Stay away! read more

I bought 2 Groupons for this place for my best friend's birthday. We were both so excited to get massages but when we arrived at the office, we both could feel that something was off. We were told to arrive at 1:30 and we arrived at 1:10. I approached the desk and presented a man the groupons and asked if we were in the right place to which the man replied, "Yes, you're both here early". He had a rude tone in his voice which made the atmosphere even more unwelcoming. The man turned out to be Dr. De Groot. He handed us papers to fill out and when we were finished we handed them back. I am normally not one to write reviews but he was so pushy that we give them a "good review" which is why I'm taking the time to write them the review that they deserve... which is NOT a good one. He then took us to the consultation room which took longer than necessary. My friend and I asked him how much longer because we had to get to work in a bit. He chimed in on our conversation and said "Well the Groupon was for a consultation, evaluation and massage". I replied "I understand that but we thought it would all take around a little over an hour". He said "Well if just the massage is an hour then why did you expect everything to be an hour?!" The tone in his voice was demeaning and made me feel stupid. It's not like I had another choice to come on a different day and time because Thursday's are the ONLY days that they except the Groupons. My friend and I decided that since we were pressed for time that we would each cut our massage 30 minutes short to make them a half hour each. She went in for the first one and then came out and told me how terrible it was when she was finished. The room smelt terrible. There were stains all over the sheets which also smelt bad. The "relaxing" music that was on in the background was interrupted every few minutes by ads. The masseuse looked at me when we walked out like I owed an explanation so I said "I'm sorry, something came up and we have to leave. I won't be getting the massage and I'm not worried about the Groupon". We signed it at the front desk and then left. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a chiropractor's office. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Dr. DeGroot is the best chiropractor I have ever seen. I hurt my back this summer and was in a good deal of pain and he nursed me back to good health pretty quickly. He is very knowledgeable concerning his craft and is very thorough in his analysis of your situation. His office is modern and has many different treatment methods. The staff is also very friendly. I have been undergoing chiropractic treatments for my lower back (L-5) since February 2012 and I must say initially I was apprehensive due to prior experiences. However, Dr. DeGroot immediately dispelled any misgivings I may have had. He is knowledgeable, personable, and results driven. Furthermore, his staff is professional, friendly, and very accomodating.
