The last place we decided to visit was Broughton Firearms. It's out in the country on a beautiful newly paved road and easy to find with GPS if you don't know the area. When we arrived we were really impressed with the property and headed down the long drive to the store. We walked in and were stunned to see the largest collection of Class 3 firearms either of us has ever seen! James welcomed us in and let us check out the rental guns as well as those for sale. We had a great conversation and learned a little about each other as we looked through a solid variety of rifles, shotguns and handguns for sale, both new and used. He also had ammo available for very reasonable prices, binoculars, scopes and various optics. My attention was held by the various full-auto firearms available to shoot. By the way, it's only $10 to bring your guns and ammo and shoot on their range! Very reasonable and there are plenty of hanging steel plates to shoot! We didn't have time to shoot today, but we will definitely be back soon! James is very friendly and was happy to chat with us about various guns and gun issues. It was hard to leave without buying a gun! I bought some ammo and we headed home. As I said, we will definitely be back! You should give this place a visit and bring your gear, the range looks like a hoot!

I think there was 5 of us back there for 20 to 30 minutes(no employee in sight). One guy got frustrated and left and me and the gentleman i was chatting with left. The other couple I'm not sure if they left or not, if I was them I would have. As for the job search, I think you have too many $9.00 an hour people with no interest in Dunhams already. Maybe you should start at the top in this store and re-evaluate your people. I dont think I'd fit in, my interest would definitely collide with what you have now. ALL my clients urged me, no - begged me to get my gun carry permit…read more I called around and checked prices and availability for a gun carry class and this place had openings and the best price. And that's exactly what I did. I went to the class, took notes, took the test, fired a glock 17 and now I am officially a gun carrier. I feel safe now that I have something on me to protect me at all times... Staff is friendly, teacher was knowledgeable, and I am now a multi gun owner. Heard the shooting range had a fire, but I'm sure it's all going to be rebuilt and classes are still going on. They have good inventory and prices on guns and ammunition. Lots of extras for your gun cases, gun safes, holsters, slings for your body. If you care about your safety in a violent city.. get your carry permit. You won't regret it one minute.
