I was recommended by a friend to try out this school. They had two different prices, teens and…read moreadults. Teens is a set amount, $240 I think, and adults are paid based on the hours. I was charged as as teen even though I was an adult. Being in a state of urgent trying to get my license ASAP, I didn't argue. I signed up for behind the wheel and it is suppose to take whole week, but I was done in three days because the driving instructor took shortcut and made the records on the paper look like it was done in a week. Once again, being in a state of urgent, I didn't argue. During my time with the instructor, he first mentioned my license would get to me in about a month and a half. On my third day, he mentioned it would take three months. I thought he was mistaken with his words so I didn't say anything about it. He took my paper work and gave me a paper, which serve as a temporary license. A month passed, no news. I texted my instructor a few times wondering if I could check on the status of my license, never a straight answer, just kept on telling me to wait three months. After awhile, I got worried so I called DMV. As you would have it, DMV had no record of me finishing my behind the wheel. I confronted my instructor about it, he said he couldn't talk because his uncle died. I spoke with his boss, seemed like a nice guy at first, but turned sour after a day. See, the thing is I wasn't worry about waiting, I was worry about my paperwork. The reason they said it would take three months is because DMV takes a long time to process as it got to take care of all the people in the state. When I found out DMV doesn't have my paperwork, that means my instructor held onto my paperwork for one month for God knows why. Eventually I brought my "temporary license" to DMV and got my license in A WEEK!! Had I given a second chance, I'd totally go with some driving school that's less shady than this crap school.

I've been riding for over 15 years so I wasn't sure how much I'd actually learn, but my coach Margaret surprised me. She was patient, kind, and really smart about how she taught. She picked up on little things in my riding that I never would have noticed on my own and gave me real, practical improvements I could use right away. What I loved most is that she wasn't intimidating at all. She made it easy to be open to feedback instead of feeling like "I already know how to ride." That takes a special kind of teacher. I ended up passing the riding eval with a perfect score and I genuinely feel like a better rider because of her. I'd recommend MRC to anyone looking to get their M endorsement in Virginia. Whether you're new to riding or you've been at it for years like me, this course is worth it. Great facility, solid structure, and good value for the price. I'd definitely come back for more advanced training.

To sum it up, I can guarantee you that half the Egyptian population who's been driving for yrs back home would fail the driving test here. So, she decided to look up driving schools online to get some refresher driving classes before taking the exam. After coming back from her first class with Farook she told me about how great he is and advised me to take classes with him as well. I'm 25 and before this August I was never interested in getting a driver's license. Just thought I'll never need it and that I'll never be able to pass the test, but then I got on the road with Farook and all of a sudden I was actually driving a car. Both my mom and I got the five class pass, and even though my mom asked him a million times if she or I needed extra classes before going to take the test, he said we were both ready, and guess what? WE WERE. We both passed the exam from the first time. What I really appreciated about Farook was the fact that he knew when we were ready, he didn't agree to give us extra classes just to get the money out of us, but he truly cared about us. Plus, he's super relaxed and calm from the first moment you step foot in his car. Truly appreciated!
