We visit annually to purchase and freeze coho and chum salmon. Great people. Great prices. Both sorry and surprised by the 2024 reviews.

We bought King Salmon last week and it was not king, the color was not red but a pale grey tasted like chum had to throw it away.

Commercial seafood company that sell to the public, warehouse setting, reasonable prices, and AS FRESH AS IT GETS. $5.00 lb for King salmon.

Prices were about what you would get at any other place so you're not really saving any money. However it was fresh and delicious! I had the seafood cocktail and it was plenty fresh and plentiful! It's pretty much a bar so seating is first come first serve. Service was friendly but a bit slow at times as there was only two people behind the counter even though there was a lot of bar seating.

The food is fresh, the portions generous, the staff friendly and with a vibe that often has us talking to our neighbors. We prefer the simple dishes that highlight the seafood. Prawns, crab, muscles, class steamed or as a cocktail. The dungeness crab bisque is great with lots of fresh dungeness. Thier seafood Louis trio is simple too much food for me. The prices are not cheep but reasonable for the quality and quantity. My only criticisms are meant to be constructive. The fact that they only open before 4 on the weekends is a bummer. Likewise, I do not understand why they do not have halibut and razor clams. Perhaps it is political, but I find it sad I have to go to Taylor Junction to get razor class. Halibut would be well suited for thier simple steaming techniques, and razor slams for the fried foods like prawns and cod. Pro tip: if you are over 50 a free players club card gets you a 20% senior discount plus a free role on the wheel giving you a minimum of $10 free gaming, though we are not much into gambling, we come here for the food.

Delicious, well balanced meal on the Hood Canal…read more Their chowder was AMAZING. Well balanced, colorful, depth of flavor, umami and textures hitting your mouth. I highly recommend it. My wife had the burger which was decent, and I had the rockfish bowl which came with smoked rockfish (delicious) complemented by kale, sweet potatoes, fluffy eggs, chives, and more. Healthy and good. What I love about the menu items here is that they offer very nutrient dense foods. I love their use of colors and vegetables in their dishes. Ambiance is a casual setting. You go to the counter and order food, pick up a bucket with a number on it, and they bring it to you. You find a seat outside by the water or in the restaurant. And you just enjoy the beautiful scenes. Service is spectacular. Very nice and they come and check on you regularly. Parking is relatively easy (there's a parking lot). We arrived around 11am on a Sunday and it was starting to fill up. Bathroom is cleaning meaning the kitchen is clean! This is on my list of places I'd come back to for sure.

Our table got some grilled oysters, Dungeness crab, seafood chowder, sides of bread (+$5) and sides of crispy potatoes (~$5) Their chowder definitely isn't the chowder we were expecting despite all the good reviews people left about their chowder. As you can see in the picture, the chowder is very watery. Not thick not creamy. They also added spring onions, corns, and carrots etc. Decent amount of clams in it so it had some good seafood umami profile to it. But maybe call it a corn chowder or seafood soup, not chowder. Grilled oysters were great, butter and other seasoning, grilled, makes it smoky and buttery. Dungeness crab has almost taste like those steamed crab you can get from the store. Ok but nothing special. However, their expo is quite loud. I can hear them when we first arrived ti indoor seating area, lining up to order and even at our table. They should know that an open kitchen = exposed + outdoor kitchen. Every thing you say or do can be observed by patrons and it will affect their experience.
