Ever since the old manager left, the property has started to go downhill. She was the best manager we've had, and her absence is definitely felt. Currently, reaching the office is a "hit or miss" experience--getting someone to pick up the phone or being there during posted hours is inconsistent. At this point, email is your only reliable source of contact even that is meh. I hope they can bring back the level of customer service Eiren provided. Those are some big shoes to fill apparently. Swat is sadly here every other month. Cops are ALWAYS here, fires truck and ambulance are always here. Kids would practice drive bys all the time. Cars get broken into all the time. It's it NOT a safe neighborhood. Office staff plays favoritism. I was supposed to get a "reserved space" due to my daughter's medical conduction brought in all the necessary documents to provide a spot for her back in January was told it won't take to long, here we are now 6 months later and still have heard nothing even after several follow ups I get the same excuse every time. Neighbors under me are extremely rude. They complain when I parent my kids and correct their behaviors. ALWAYS pound on my floor due to a toddler throwing a fit and office staff doesn't do anything. Save yourself a headache. Go live something else! Currently in the process of looking for a new place to live due to being retaliated against and targeted.

Aleena (the PM) also works really hard to ensure the landscaping around the community is neat & well kept. Country Gables is located in a really decent area filled with great areas to walk if you are the outdoorsy type. The community is also fairly quite so we don't hear a lot of noise or disturbances throughout the day. Pros: Excellent & friendly staff. We'll kept landscaping & property. Convenient to everything yet tucked away as to keep out riff-raff. Pet friendly. People friendly. Good value for your dollar. Quick response for maintenance needs. Cons: This is a smoking community & people smoke a LOT, so if you like to keep your windows open, you get the displeasure of catching second hand smoke. Solution: either have a designated smoking area or require smoking off property. Pet friendly comes with pros & cons. Unfortunately many people on the property do NOT keep their dogs leashed so those individuals who do leash their dogs are faced with the frustration of having unleashed dogs attack at unexpected times. Solution: enforce the leash requirement in the lease. The apartments are older & often sound like they are falling apart. Carpets are not always replaced prior to move in & this means lots of stains left behind from previous tenants. All-in-all, a great place to live despite the listed items. :) Ms. Darcy

The woman is the office is incompetent unprofessional, unreliable and absurd. They couldn't find my contract or my months of saved credit. They couldn't remember anything about my situation- which was not complicated- despite me calling time and time again to resolve the error THEY made. Since they couldn't find my contract or my credit over 300 dollars worth- I requested that they make sure my items were still in my garage ( I moved cross country and use it as storage). The woman in the office was petty enough to take a picture of the closed garage door, which obviously has no windows, and then email me and say- "I hope this helps you sleep better at night." In what sane world does a picture of a closed door with no view of the items inside give anyone a peace of mind that the items are still there?!? My sister drove three hours round trip that night to make sure my things were still there. They always said they would get right back to me- and they NEVER returned my calls and acted shocked when I called to follow up. It has been OVER a month and I have not received one phone call or email from them except for the snide emails from the woman in the office with the useless pictures. I just called and she had NO idea what I was calling about and told me she would call me right back. I'm still waiting... Excuses, lies and incompetence is all you will get if you move here.
