After talking with Seth, there was zero doubt in my mind this is the team I want to be a part of. The group has been outstanding from beginning to end with getting the second home loan. I had a bit of a panic attack one day during the process and reached out to both Seth and Tiffany. They were able to bring me back down to Earth, reassure me, and bring me back to feeling excited. This was exactly what I needed. Short term rentals are still very new to me but if you need a team to get you through this, this group is the one. Cannot wait to continue to do work with them.

Can't thank them enough.

One of the things we appreciated most was how quickly they were able to get everything done and get us to closing. The entire process moved incredibly fast. We are extremely grateful for all of their help and would absolutely recommend Thomas and the GEM Mortgage team to anyone looking to purchase a home. He is kind and patient and believes "there are no dumb questions" which put us at ease; making him very approachable. We loved him so much that when our dream home suddenly and unexpectedly came on the market we chose him for a second time to walk us through the process. Buying your first house is one thing, but having to sell and buy at the same time is another. Again Thomas was able to navigate a crazy market and land us our dream home!! I can honestly say that we would not be in this house without him and all the hard work he put into this. 100% recommend working with him.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service we received at the Navy Federal Credit Union…read moreOntario branch. I brought my daughter in to open her very first account, expecting the same excellent service we have always received at the San Bernardino location. Unfortunately, the experience was the complete opposite. The representative who assisted us was absolutely no help. There was very little acknowledgment, guidance, or effort to make my daughter feel welcomed as a new Navy Federal member. Opening your first account should be a positive experience, especially when your family has been loyal Navy Federal members and recommended the credit union to you. What bothered me most was the lack of interest in helping us. We did not walk in expecting special treatment, we simply expected basic customer service, communication, and assistance. Instead, we walked out feeling as though our business was not valued. I have other children who will eventually need accounts opened, and after this experience, I will absolutely NOT bring them to the Ontario branch. I would rather make the drive to San Bernardino, where we have consistently been treated with professionalism and respect. Navy Federal has always set a higher standard in my experience, but unfortunately, the Ontario location did not come close to meeting it. I would not recommend this branch based on the poor customer service and lack of acknowledgment we received.

On Feb 25-27 I had a trip planned for big bear with a Airbnb In Sugarloaf, Ca about 10-15min max from big bear lake. on 2/27 the day for our check out, and agent from mortgage guys decided that it was okay to let herself in and state she was going to show the house. Me and my family let her know that we had been in the house as part of an Airbnb stay and our check out time would be at 11am as we are still packing up and getting ready to hit the road. This lady insisted that her appointment would be at 10:30 but she was inside the house prior to that. We let her know that we need a few more minutes so that we can pack out stuff and she can have the house to herself after that. 10mintues later went by and she decided to come back into the house ON HER OWN with no one opening the door for her she let herself in with her clients to show off the house after we told her NOT TO COME IN AND OUR BELONGINGS WERE EVERYWHERE. I was in the restroom when I heard her trying to open the door to come inside the bathroom. I quickly got out and my husband let her know she needs to wait outside as we are still in the house. Her clients seemed shocked. As I would imagine since this is causing us to get upset. I don't understand what was so hard to get when we told her we were packing and that she can come back in a few minutes once we were done, it was such a simple solution but she wanted to talk back to us as if it was OUR fault??? NO she needed to contact the selling agent and make sure the house was vacant!!!!!!! SO UNPROFESSIONAL of this lady, I wish I would have gotten her name but I was just so pissed off I had no time to react. You guys really need to train your agents to DO BETTER.
