Just a heads up. Dear Pond Fuel in Waterboro had our credit card info so we could get on an automatic delivery schedule. O.K. - valid. But, after years of doing business with them, they apparently changed their policy, without notifying us, to take the cost of the first 100 gallons of oil the day before delivery to make sure our card was valid. We saw the withdrawal and assumed we had oil, but when we checked, we barely had 1/4 tank. The day they took the money, our driveway was sanded. The next day when they decided we were worthy of an oil delivery, they declined to come down our driveway because they deemed it dangerous. This was on Friday . They "tried" again today and again decided it was too slippery. We have had our, admittedly, long driveway sanded 3 times in 4 days. We have had our trash guy, UPS guy, a bunch of cars for a party and others here with zero problems. So, I still have no oil and they still have our money. We told them to return our money and will NEVER again do business with Deer Pond Fuel. read more
