Their drinks are unique flavors - I had a blueberry milk coffee & a decaf maple bourbon latte (I think this one is really cool because it uses non alcoholic bourbon!). Both were yummy. My husband got a house ginger ale and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon was huge and fluffy and yummy but could use a lot more cinnamon, and the ginger ale was kinda watery. I had the Thai peanut wrap which was really good and my husband had the turkey pesto panini - the panini was not a panini but more of a cold sandwich on toast, so that was disappointing. Overall nice vibes and we'd come back.

I was here for four hours, drinking first a cortado and then a drip coffee. The pastries looked good and nearly pulled me off my keto diet but I stayed strong. Wifi was speeding, the power outlet next to my table worked well and when it felt like perhaps I was keeping others from getting a seat, I decided that it was time to move on to somewhere else. Overall, this was a super spot and I'd choose it first next time. [Review 939 of 2026 - 318 in Ohio - 26119 overall]

Bald White Guy Reviews: Two Scoops of Sugar 505 S Elm…read moreSt, Washington Court House, OH Drive-thru convenience + local charm = my kind of place. Once every month or so -- when the stars align, my work schedule gives me a break, and my willpower finally caves -- I treat myself (and my much more patient wife) to a little slice of happiness: One dozen glorious M&M Cookie One Butterscotch Scone (more on this masterpiece in a second) One cup of black coffee (because I'm old, and I like my coffee the way I like my humor -- strong, straightforward, and slightly bitter). This ritual has become a highlight for us. We've been coming here for years -- birthdays, special occasions, "just because" days -- and Two Scoops of Sugar has never let us down. The Cookies Their M&M cookies are the kind of treat that make you question why you ever settled for store-bought. Soft, chewy, and loaded with colorful chocolate goodness -- they're basically edible nostalgia. The Butterscotch Scone (aka: The Crown Jewel) Let's talk about this scone. Edges: perfectly crisp, with just the right golden crunch. Middle: warm, soft, and tender -- like a hug from the inside. Fresh from the oven. Flavor: rich butterscotch sweetness that somehow manages to be indulgent without being cloying. Honestly, it's kinda like me -- crispy on the outside, warm and soft in the middle. Location & Drive-Thru Magic Right in the heart of the business area of Washington Court House, with a drive-thru that makes grabbing your fix easy even when you're in a rush. No parallel parking acrobatics, no "just running in" that turns into 20 minutes -- just roll up, order, and roll out. The September 3rd News If you follow their Facebook page, you probably saw the September 3rd post announcing they'll be stopping baked goods. I'm not gonna lie -- this hit me right in the sweet tooth. Closing the bakery side is bad news for my taste buds... but probably great news for my A1C. Silver linings, I guess. The good news? They're still serving coffee and specialty drinks, and that's worth supporting. Local businesses like this are the heartbeat of our town. \ So even if I can't get my scone fix forever, I'll still be swinging by for my black coffee -- because supporting local matters. And because, well... I'm old and set in my ways Verdict: Two Scoops of Sugar isn't just a bakery -- it's a little piece of Washington Court House magic. Locally owned! Get there while you can for the baked goods, and keep showing up for the coffee after. Your taste buds (and your community) will thank you. "They say money can't buy happiness... but it can buy cookies, and that's basically the same thing." ‍‍‍‍ Bald Head Rating: 4 out of 4 -- worth every crumb. The Spot on Main Cafe fits the bill with a terrific warm pretzel breakfast sandwich with a large sausage patty and melted gouda. I'm pretty skeptical of sausage patties as they are typically thin, dry, and hockey puck-like. This one was none of those things. The large latte was robust in size and taste. Tasteful and super clean interior with good but not too loud music. Helpful service advising on choices (the bacon and swiss on a croissant was a close second when deciding what to get). Went for the pretzel which too wasn't the typically dry, hard, experience that requires incisor driven tearing to eat. I include a picture from the bathroom, definitely a first. But hanging on the inside of the door was a Scandinavia style high chair to have kiddos sit when you are otherwise occupied in this spotless bathroom. Two tables out front with shades and other tables around the corner in the back as well. Plenty of space inside but if you want to get outside to enjoy the morning coffee, that's an option. I'll definitely be back next time I have business in Jackson.
