Don't do it! I used to buy from Deep Discount for a number of years. They offered movies at a reasonable price and their service was decent. That all changed for me in 2024. I called them and cancelled an order. They said that it was cancelled, but they shipped it anyway. When I called them on it, they said to ship it back at my expense. When I sent it back, they claim that they didn't receive it and now they block me from ordering. A word of advice to the wise...never purchase merchandise from deepdiscount.com. 1. They always ship media mail, and the turnaround time is VERY SLOW...even though they charge shipping. 2. If you ever contact them for a refund, they will cop an attitude and give you a hard time...before eventually refunding you only a portion of what you paid. PLUS you need to pay for return shipping, not reimbursed either. When I first placed an order with DeepDiscount.com, their system said the items I bought were all In Stock. They only fulfilled part of my order, so I called to find out the status of what was still missing, just to be told that item is now on backorder. I advised the representative on the phone to keep it on backorder in the event they could procure the item. A few hours later, they email me to say they are cancelling the order, which I did not request when I called earlier in the day. They have very poor communication with their customers as they provide incorrect information on their website and then refuse to heed one's request to keep an item on backorder. Because of their ineptness and blatant disregard for customer service, it wound up costing me over $40.00 more for the same product that I could have gotten cheaper elsewhere if I would have known at the time I placed the order that they did not have this item on inventory. I am a very loyal customer and they had zero consideration for the inconveniences which they caused me. They take absolutely no responsibility for errors which they create and could care less how they treat their customers. They truly are the epitome of apathy. read more

I purchased the Beatles Box Set. This was with DeepDiscount but through Amazon. Listened to 10 of the 12 records and 1 had a skip. I wanted to replace the one record which is sold in it's exact version separately. The odds of getting 12 vinyl records and they are all perfect is not that good. The Customer Service Agent wanted me to return the box which would have cost upwards of $60.00 to ship and require me to start listening all over again. I wanted to speak to a supervisor to discuss. I asked for a supervisor for 4 days in a row and no one would take the call. In the end I went to Amazon to resolve which they did in 5 minutes. The bottom line here is that most of us get to this company through Amazon. They are not at that standard of service so you need to think about that when you agree to a third party experience through Amazon. If I could rate them a "ZERO" I would Attempted to place order on-line(10/17/22). Order did not apply coupon code for 15% discount. Recv'd email from DD(1:43 a.m.10/18/22) indicating dvd's in cart, and that I needed to complete order. DD system would not let me do this. 10/18/22; rmv'd everything from cart and called in order.Rep{JASON} after taking my order, indicated that card rejected twice, & to contact financial institution. Contacted financial institution, there is no problem with my card. Tried DD again{JASON}, who only stated that card "REJECTED." I looked at other reviews and gave deep discount a chance because they had a bundle with some pre-order items i had wanted. I reached out to customer support several times prior to release of all bundled items to confirm availability and that shipment would occur. Today, was the release date for the last item in the bundle and upon contacting their customer support i was notified that the item is back-ordered. The item in question released last week on 3/13/20. I was not notified of this back order after contacting their customer support, and was advised that all items would be shipping together as intended before contacting them again to find out why shipping had not occurred. This is an unacceptable business practice. They would not have even notified me if i didn't pro-actively reach out that the product is now back ordered. As a result of their negligence i will now have virtually 0 opportunity to purchase the intended products. Their customer service is really bad, I preordered a cyberpunk 2077 collector edition in March, and I just wanted to change my order address to a new one which is the other side of the street. But what they told me is the item was never been available to them. So in other words, they will never have it. the only way they can do is to refund me, which means they list a fake item on their website, and waiting for people to pay the item, then they could use the money to do something else in the period of time. And then they may refund you the money when that item actually launched. What a scam business there. Avoid this website for any preorder, please. I pre-ordered the NECA Warduke figure in January, my order confirmation said it would ship April 27th. April 27th comes and goes, and there is no movement on my order. I reached out via FB on the 28th and after 24 hours got the vague reply of "The item has not come in yet. Once it does, we will get it out to you and send you tracking info via email." I asked if they had an ETA and was told they would reach out to the vendor and get back to me. Nine days pass with no contact. I reach out again asking if there is an update. The reply this time "Yes, they are expecting to ship this item to us at the end of the month (May). You can expect to receive this in early June. Once it ships, we will send you tracking info." I reach out again on June 10, asking for an update and am finally told that it was never released, as soon as it does they will let me know. Today I receive an email stating my order has been canceled (with ZERO explanation), and that a refund has been processed. The fact that my refund has already hit my card is why this is not a one star review. This is not a proper way to do any kind of business. If there is an issue with an item that a customer has ordered you should be in constant contact with that customer to keep them updated. They should not have to reach out to you months at a time to get an update on something they spent money at your company for. I will be more than happy to come to your company and train your people and how to conduct proper customer service and how to keep tabs on things such as this so that you can keep in contact and better inform your customers of their orders or your lack of ability to fulfill their orders. Ordered a film "Purple Taxi" they emailed me was back in stock. I ordered it then they sent me some cartoon DVD. I quickly sent it back. Nothing about receipt of the return. After calling and emailing, weeks later they tell me the DVD I ordered is out of stock. They tell me my credit card will not be charged but they DID ANYWAY. Weeks later still no refund/credit as promised. I called AMEX and contested the charge which will be refunded. So I ordered 13 Funko pops from them, all showing in stock. They shipped 11 of the 13 and did not send me an email or a phone call about the other 2. I waited 2 weeks and still nothing. I'm sad to be giving them one star, since they'd always been a great source of cheap dvds over the years. However, up to this point, I never needed to use their customer service. This is what happened: I order 2 dvds. A month passes. One says its been shipped, the other backordered. I email them about both statuses, no response. I try again, nothing. Finally, I realize they got one number wrong in my address. After 5 weeks, I get one dvd. I email them to say I'd gotten it finally but that I'd like to change the address for the other one, when it gets sent. No response. They go ahead & send the other one, AFTER I contacted them, to the wrong address. So it's been 2 months now, and I haven't seen that second one yet. Then, they give me a refund for the first one! Saying that they "found" it returned to them. Okayyy, not sure where they found that disc that I have at my house right now, so I write them AGAIN, saying i have it. No response. At this point though, we're even, I guess, because the 2nd dvd still isn't here and who knows if it ever will be. And then just a week ago, I got an email from them saying "they couldn't locate my account." what, you mean my order number, name, address, and email weren't enough? The email said something about how I should reply with my order number. Hilariously, at the bottom it listed all of that info because i filled out one of their web-forms that asked all that already. Not only did they not read my email, they even pretended that the web-form info didn't exist. If I write back, maybe they just won't read that and they'll send me the same response forever and ever and ever. "oh, we couldn't find your account this time because we didn't bother to check. could you just send it one more time?" I was going to tell a whole saga, but seeing the other reviews, it would just be piling on. I wish I had known before ordering from them. They messed up my preorder through their own incompetence, and when I entreated them to get the order reinstated, they did not care, just fed my the same regurgitated lines, talking in circles. No empathy or ownership on their part. When I asked to escalate my case, they just said "all requests are subject to approval", AKA "get lost". Now the preorders are all sold out, so I guess I am out of pocket for dealing with these snakes. I have 1 major gripe , I've had an item on back order for a month and a half and they didn't mention anything about being out of stock when I first ordered. Short of that , I found a few really hard to find discs and got the majority of my order pretty quickly. .... Ordered a Barbie on September 12th. It was a back order supposed to ship on Sept 21st. At the end of September I emailed for a tracking number. No response. I called the 1st of October. Was told at first that the Barbie's didn't come in. Was told later in the same conversation that not ENOUGH dolls came in. I told him I was filing a dispute with Pay Pal. I got my money back because I used Pay Pal. I feel for all of the people that used other means of payment. If you read his feedback, it looks like he makes a habit of listing items for sale that he doesn't have and then hanging onto your money as long as possible. This place is a scam. In mid November I ordered a CD from DeepDiscount.com. They said It would arrive in 5-7 days. It is now Dec. 13 and still not here. I originally went to the Walmart site to order and Deep Discount is one of their suppliers. I contacted Walmart who said I must speak with DD.
