WELL Spa came up in my search for prenatal massages near me. I scheduled a massage for 4:30pm and completed all of the paperwork online beforehand. I opted to take a shower there before the appointment. I had a little trouble finding the parking building for Pfister but felt that it was easy to find my way in after that. Walking through the Pfister lobby was beautiful-I'd love to stay there! I found the Spa check in desk and they lead me to the waiting area. I enjoyed cucumber water and time to relax before my appointment. It would have been nice to have the option of changing into a robe before this to get into full relaxation mode. I arrived early to enjoy that calm. My massage therapist did not retrieve me until a couple minutes after my scheduled appointment time. She asked all of the same questions I filled out online and if I still wanted to shower. I said I did but the appointment time had commenced. She mentioned there was 15 minutes outside of that to shower. Great! But I had already lost time since she got me late. Oh well. I took a quick shower and got set up for the massage. There was a comfortable prenatal pillow for my belly to fit in comfortably. My therapist was excellent at keeping a stable pressure and hitting tension points. Overall I had an enjoyable experience. I would say I'd like the timing to make more sense and calming atmosphere before/after the actual massage.

The front desk asked if she would be available for her 7 pm appointment and she said she wouldn't be finished until 7:30. My appointment started at 4:45 pm. I left around 7:40 pm and was satisfied with the results but I didn't get any designs that would warrant the appointment taking 3 hours. I am writing this at 10:45 the following morning and one of the nails already popped off. Very disappointing since I am going on an 8 day vacation and now can't fix this. I actually thought the place seemed very clean given it's humble furnishings (plus i was able to watch Brenda clean the station after and she did a very thorough job). I can sympathize with the other reviewers in that the basement was a bit chilly though but they did have a space heater going. I was allowed to pick a dvd to watch and then Brenda got to work starting with the pedicure. She was very meticulous in her approach, which i appreciated, and the products they used on me were wonderful. I also got a paraffin treatment too and my feet felt like heaven. My shellac manicure went great as well. My nails are very short and i was anticipating maybe the same experience as the other reviewers regarding filing but i didn't! She was gentle and followed my instruction about shape and cuticles. Brenda also kept asking if i liked everything, searching for reassurance that she was meeting my needs. All in all im glad i didnt read the reviews prior to coming or buying my groupon. Brenda did a great job and was very accommodating. The picture i uploaded was from today, 3/5, and i got my manicure on 3/1- 4 days in and still looking great.
